Robinson did not cover the outside pass rusher. Confusion on blitz pickup and Keenum just had to throw it up for grabs.by Rams_81 - Game Time Forum
Robinson 3 holding calls on one drive. I don't know if I have ever seen that in the NFL.by Rams_81 - Game Time Forum
I would disagree with the premise of improvement. I would rather call it. "The Rams offense have had better games recently." "Improvement" to me is more permanent as we have seen this show for 3-4 years now where it appears things are going in the right direction and than puff, not so fast. What will we do when the offense has back to back games with less than 300 yardby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
I disagree with some of it and agree with other parts. I still feel the personnel overall has been good in some areas and the coaching good in most areas (other than the traditional bottom 5 offense Fisher puts together year after year) Most of the problems are the lack of player development and offensive approach/scheme/attitude/predictable trends, etc. But Bernie does put together aby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
Robinson takes so long to develop that by the time he is productive guys like Jenkins (Cap casualty) and Quinn (Healthy) are not producing for the Rams. NFL - Not for Long (You acquire players for now)by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
First time in couple years Rams no longer #32 on offense. Moved up 1 slot to #31.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
Difference between Arians and FIsher as offensive coaches factor is significant. A bottom 5 coach vs a top 5 coach on offense. It is almost impossible to compare considering the "offensive" environment that has been created with this offense for the past 4 years. I will give it up last game was very good. We will see if this is the start of changes or just the Rams taking a bby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
I am a little more optimistic now than I was at 3-1. The offense at least did some things they rarely do. Significant improvement. I am skeptical that it will stick, but if not for the injuries on the defensive line, this would be a win.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
The Rams dummy down the offense and also protect him with the tight end and runningback so much. That is something beyond the penalties and Qb pressures that really limits the offense and often gets overlooked by fans. So there are so intangibles where his grade should be even lower than it is by all of these publications that track the offensive line rankings. Hard to put a tangible numberby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
With only the 5 playoff seasons when martz was the offensive coach in those 25 years. Anybody who does that is far from a fair weather fan.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
I will change view on fisher when gurley has room to run and gets his yards per carry To 6.0. The rams are a top 10 offense. Scoring 30 points in most games And there is. 1000 yard receiver That would be consistent with having the physical talent they have assembled on offense with all of these high draft picks at the various positions. Until then he is s A's and Bs coach with an F oby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
The Shuffling has been going on with OLINE. It has been like try this try that with no real vision. And than to use lack of vision as an excuse to me is just so puzzling. Another reshuffle would be another excuse, but my question is this: Why do you keep the try this try that method versus just getting it right? It be different if there were no assets to get players. 20 years of history that is what you keep discounting. When this comes up it is the peaks and valleys argument. The problem is there are lots of valleys and not enough peaks. There is always an angle, Injuries, taking over a bad team, and on and on, but he has had more assets at his disposal than any other team in the NFL, with a ton of free agent money, more high draft picks, and RG3 tradby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
30-38-1 can be explained by horrific offense. If the owners would just tell Fisher to stay away from Offense, he be a winning coach. As I have said multiple times, he gets mostly A's and B's, but the F on offense brings his GPA down to a C+ on the positive side, if you want to be negative, a C-.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
that has back to back #32 offenses with blue chip talent picks at all the key positions (An extremely underachieving unit that has been masked by good special teams and a dominant defensive line blowing up drives) Tampa game may have a little merit. I will grant you that one, but was aided by key turnovers. But If there is any team in the NFL that is in trouble if it is behind, it is the Raby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
Always one position away from being in the lead is trading blow for blow. This is a #32 offensive team that will struggle when having to generate offense to stay in the game. This has been a steady downhill fall of this offense the last 4 years leading to this back to back #32 offenses in years 3 and 4. Keep in mind this is with above average talent and draft assets 1) #1 pick in the draby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
With his current contract situation, you want to know whether you can invest in a 2nd contract. The sooner he gets to moved to Left Guard, the sooner you can figure that out. Time is running out on that first contract. Left Guard seems more suited for Robinson. Less decision making.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
Keenum will have problems if Rams trail in games. The team is set up to trade blows and win in the end. Lots of conservative calls and punts. If the Rams trail, that is when the Greg Robinson breakdowns will start and that is when Keenum will start throwing the picks.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
I believe the Kickers will get tired in this game.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
Bradford has a 109% QB Rating on a bad offensive team but he does have one good WR that was a 5th round pick and a good defense and that makes a big difference. I believe the evidence that he was saddled with bad WRs and bad coaching is becoming very clear. That as well as his health was what held him back.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
There is no way you could evaluate Sam Bradford really with the Rams. He played with practice squad WRs and had bad offensive coaching and he wasn't healthy. Based on what I see right now and even last year, I believe him to be an above average QB and if he ever lands in a good situation, he could become a pro bowl type of QB. He was close last year before he got dinged up and missed someby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
Does the Rams coaching staff sneak in 4th qtr of chargers games and take over the coaching? Quote from my son's friend last night My son's friend was over watching the Chargers game last night as it appeared another last minute collapse is in order, he goes, does somehow the Rams offensive coaching staff get sent in for the 4th quarter of Charger games to coach the offense? Fisher on offense - names and numbers keep changing but the results remain the same. It is a problem. I don't know if the practice structure is lacking, the scheme, the game preparation, or what gives. the players always seem unprepared for game situations and lack fundamentals.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
in offense. Who in the world is 32?by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
If turnover ratio is not at even or better Rams lose. I look at it the other way. With the offense so poor, it is essential to win the turnover battle or at least win the field position game with great punting and special teams play and a defense that gets off the field quickly.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
This team with this offense, basically has to win the turnover battle to win week to week. The entire game plan is just that so if the team is trailing and the game starts getting away from them, it is very difficult t o win those games. That is why the Rams can beat good teams and lose to bad teams. (Which in the ends gets you too many losses to be a top team in the league) It is possby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
Detroit Qb is king of inconsistency. Can be great or horrificby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
There is that. I don't know how, but 3-2 is a playoff contender. The team has been winning the close games so while it is an ugly 3-2, it is what it is. 3-2.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
