create space in both running game and passing game. This coaching staff does not know how to create opportunity for success.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
4th rounders rarely produce and that in itself is not fair to expect them to do much, but as pointed out in this thread, doing a little versus doing nothing is a difference, but this isn't one isolated event. On the offensive side, you can start a list of questionable results and each one can be explained with some specific logic as an alternate possibility, but the pattern is so strong, that thby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
A big win over the Patriots late in the 1998 season. I think Hakim had 2 touchdowns and a beautiful 30+ reverse play running touchdown. His NFL numbers were not good mostly because he was too little to get many touches, but what a electric player to watch. Some of the best plays I remember in the NFL involved Az Hakim.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com

On offense results do not equal the talent and that is by a significant margin. All kinds of high picks really not being developed. If somebody had a list of all the draft spots the Rams have on this team, physical measurements used at draft time, and told you that it would be the worst offense in the NFL over the past few years, you would think they were out of their mind. But the underacby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
what percentage of the penalties are defense versus offense. I would think if you threw out Robinson, who is a mess, the defense commits more. I really have no idea and that is a question. I do think the defense is carrying the team but in this area, they are bad as well.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
Normally, Fisher is horrific in preseason and the 1st quarter. and does much better as the season goes on. I was shocked by the 3-1 start. But some realize that there were warning signs by the manner that those games were won. The Rams caught Seattle and Arizona at the perfect time and won ugly games.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
Fisher gets mostly A's and B's with various elements with coaching but the offense consistently gets an F which brings that GPA down to a C+ if you are glass half full or C- if you are not. Just get somebody in here to throw away every concept (whether it be the approach, blocking schemes, WR routes, player development plans, off season work, preseason approach, game planning, offensive schemeby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
to be worse than the Rams with much better coaching, has to be completely embarrassing.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
and that is what he is, an average backup QB. He is going to make a ton of money off of this year and last year. Remember when Tony Banks got playing time. He was in the league many years as a backup QB because he had experience and backup QBs still make a good chunk of money. This Keenum thing, while he is better than Gibson, the WR, this situation reminds me of Gibson. They keep ruby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
Rams will win the 15th and 16th games of the season and finish 7-9 or 8-8 with Goff and Keenum will get his extension. Jets, 49ers, Cardinals. (Mainly because the last 2 games of the season will be treated as preseason games by the 49ers and Cardinals) are all wins. (If the Rams can steal another, that will get the record to 8-8) The story theme will be that the Fisher knew what he wby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
To properly evaluate Keenum. To evaluate a QB at this time of the seasons, You have to pick the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 6th games and ignore the 1st, 5th, 7th, and 8th games.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
Space management is poor. I watch other teams and they somehow create space in both the running game and passing game. It is big clutter for the Rams. It feels like there are 44 bodies out there instead of 22.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
yep the coaching does not create any space in the running game or the passing game.by Rams_81 - Game Time Forum
both of them were good players and have a good motor and very good intangibles, but had some limitations on making it to elite level and had health issues. But I be happy with either and would want those players on my team.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
The offense likes to run the core handful of plays and keep it safe and simple. The team likes to protect Robinson. When the offense is in an urgent position to score in the 4th quarter, it is like these players are seeing bullets for the first time. QB Rating while Not Perfect and obviously flawed, it is widely excepted as a way to evaluate the composite total performance of a QB. Obviously as the article states, Nick Foles isn't the best QB in the league while he was with the Eagles, but he did do well while he played there and well with the Chiefs last weekend. He just played poorly with the Rams in between.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think the team excels with the DBs. 2 of them are 2 of the highest paid players at the position in the game and the Rams lost 1. Than they take some late round guys and they do a solid job.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
Bradford ranks eighth in NFL passer rating (98.2) but won't last long without better blocking. Another situation where you see a significant difference once a QB plays for somebody other than Fisher and this is on the worst offense in the NFL with no running game, a bad offensive line, and the only weapon some 5th round WR. I don't see any way he can keep it up with the hits that he takeby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
Get great people and be an enabler and facilitator, but let them do their jobs. He has a great video on YouTube about leadership. Actually, I think Fisher is a pretty good leader overall as well. He is just a little too much of a control freak though and that has been his doom on offense as you kind of pointed out.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
that the Rams commit more penalties than most of the other teams. I never have seen so many documented facts that can be verified that people will reply that it is an opinion. with QBs with a reasonable amount of attempts. 39th overall. I threw out the less than 100 attempt QBs. This is consistent with bottom 5 rankings of Rams offense everywhere that has been a mark for these past years. The QB rating is 77. Trevor Siemian has a 87 rating. However, I think you have to factor in that any QB is not going to do as well with a Fisher ran offense, so I would aby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
that 2006 8-8 team had the best circumstances. We played an easy schedule. We played more 3rd string qb's that I ever remember playing in one season After going 5-8, we finished the season playing 3 teams out of the race, playing the game like a preseason game, subbing in. We had no significant injuries to the star players. Most of them played all 16 games. We had Kurt Warner (Cardinaby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
Never did I think I would have a Rams WR. He has come on and numbers are there. I personally think once teams take him seriously, he will drop back to old ways, but I say ride him while I can. I am not a big Cam fan but he does have a point. I am not sure which one said it, but why is it that players and coaches and owners and GMs all take a beating from fans and media, but officials are supposed to be never discussed by anyone. Players and coaches can get fines for speaking their mind. Cam is getting cheap shots and I don't see how that is acceptable. I know he is cocky aby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
Well, without Palmer he did go 9-3 the FIRST time he won coach of the year. Two coach of the year awards his first 5 years in the league and it's not like he inherited Palmer. He went out and got him and helped turn his career around. Should we even talk about the 3 straight 10+ win seasons in the toughest division in football? So much angst for a coach just because he called a sub .500by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
Palmer is sliding, but some of that is he is a little jittery from the offensive line. Can't step up to make throws. Fitzgerald isn't human, but word is this is his last year. Although different style of players, his character reminds me of Issac Bruce. Self made player and a WR that just goes out and plays well.
