that has back to back #32 offenses with blue chip talent picks at all the key positions (An extremely underachieving unit that has been masked by good special teams and a dominant defensive line blowing up drives)
Tampa game may have a little merit. I will grant you that one, but was aided by key turnovers. But If there is any team in the NFL that is in trouble if it is behind, it is the Rams.
I guarantee if you pulled every NFL coach in the NFL and ask this question?
What team would you feel most comfortable with a good lead defending on defense? That many answers would return
RAMS
I would bet the house that the Rams name would turn up on many of those 31 sheets.
I could live with it if this was Tony Banks, June Henley, and Ricky Proehl trying to get something done on offense, but name a team in the NFL that has such high picks at key positions get less than the Rams have gotten out of them. Who has #1 pick at QB, #2 pick at LT for starters. And than to boot a #8 at WR and #12 at RB who probably should have been a top 3 pick.
