We don't know that Bennett won't develop into good pro QB. And he's not too small. We know he's not ready to beat off Stafford as a starter, but Stafford was the first overall pick in the NFL draft and has won a Super Bowl. As for size, Bennett is about the same size as Drew Brees: future Hall of Fame QB and Super Bowl winner. Bennett has better wheels.
Bennett is a winner. He won back to back national championships in college and most recently won back to back preseason games for our Rams. Was it all pretty? Nope. But, there are few QBs around who could've roll out left and thrown a side armed strike for the game winning TD as he did week one. He delivered with another gorgeous strike in the 4th quarter to win the second game.
He has controlled the huddle and gotten snaps off on time. I don't see all the negativity. And I don't want to keep bringing in former Niners players. JG is more than enough.
