QuoteRams43 Did the Rams do enough on the offensive line in the draft? Who starts week 1? Did the Rams fix the offensive line in the draft and who will start week 1? BlaineGrisak make the offensive line a priority in the NFL Draft. With the 36th overall pick, the Rams selected TCU’s Steve Avila and then later on day three, Warren McClendon from Georgia was added to the haul. Whilby chico n da rams - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteJimYoungblood53 That was talked about as a possibility. Wentz started off well enough, Goff slower in 1st year then both were playoff QBs, Wentz got hurt in his Super Bowl run--no way to kn ow if he could have sealed the deal It seems to me, Rams needed a QB and got the better of the two available. QuoteJimYoungblood53 Quotechico n da rams Fair enough. But 22' o-line was NOT the same as 21' (perhaps you've heard of a guy named Whitworth). The other 4 were from 21', & clearly got abused by Buffalo in week 1 (the only week one could draw any kind of reasonable comparison between 21' & 22'). Never heard of the guy And totally disagree with your gloom and doom overly negative assby chico n da rams - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteJimYoungblood53 Quotechico n da rams I guarantee you you're wrong. okay---I have your guarantee. But that's about next year. You were speculating on LAST year, saying a healthy line would have resulted in the same record. There is evidence that the same line won a Super Bowl in 2021. There is zero evidence that a healthy Rams line had had a losing season since 2016. never undeby chico n da rams - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteJimYoungblood53 Quotechico n da rams I disagree - the o-line, if healthy, would still be getting trucked, & we would still be 5-12. The oline that got Rams to Super Bowl in 2021, if healthy, would have been so bad as to be 5-12? okay . . . Fair enough... We'll disagree. And it seems at this point that the Rams are going to go with a very similar iteration of the same 22 oline.by chico n da rams - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteJimYoungblood53 QuoteNewMexicoRam The offense just couldn't score. This board has often had comments about how the defense gave up too many long drives. I actually am amazed at how many of those drives ended in FG's. If the offense could have been scoring 24 points per game, there where a lot of wins there for the pickings. and said so at the time, but not AS MANY as the offense and speby chico n da rams - RamsFootballFans.com

I disagree entirely. The reality is, all the offensive lineman he just named, on their best day, will get whipped against real physical defensive teams. The problem with PA ram, and others, is this: They have embraced mediocrity through lowered expectations. I can only think of two possible o-linemen that might be physically able to play at that level. I think Anchrum, and Shelton. Everyone elseby chico n da rams - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteJimYoungblood53 I did not go back and look--I just made up the routes here---don't even know if they would work but a reason of off coverage many times is mesh concepts and switch releases if you play up/press and receivers cross defenders get picked off that is why they are called pick plays cushions and matching concepts allows defenders to match the routes and play downhby chico n da rams - RamsFootballFans.com
Robinson, Jefferson, Atwell all need to spend ALL offseason getting into Kupps head; Stafford overlooks the others because Kupp reads & understands defenses like no other, puts himself in the best places, & Stafford relies on that. If the others gain the same understanding, Stafford will have more options he feels comfortable with. That being said, it's all academic if we continue withby chico n da rams - RamsFootballFans.com

what McVay needs to accept. That is, you have to be able to dominate the LOS PHYSICALLY. I'm afraid he feels he can scheme success in that area, but the results speak for themselves.
