chico n da rams
I guarantee you you're wrong.
okay---I have your guarantee.
But that's about next year. You were speculating on LAST year, saying a healthy line would have resulted
in the same record.
There is evidence that the same line won a Super Bowl in 2021. There is zero evidence that
a healthy Rams line had had a losing season since 2016.
never under McVay
but whatever, think whatever you want. I like to at least look
at a track record but - - no one can know for sure.
I guess a healthy line---could have been so bad as let Qb get hurt and go 5-12.
Fair enough. But 22' o-line was NOT the same as 21' (perhaps you've heard of a guy named Whitworth). The other 4 were from 21', & clearly got abused by Buffalo in week 1 (the only week one could draw any kind of reasonable comparison between 21' & 22').
And I never made any claim of a healthy McVay o-line having a losing season back to 16'. Don't know where that came from.
Track records are ok . . but skills erode, time catches up, & players abilities change from year to year & week to week.
If you want to believe that an oline that features Notebook, Allen & Havenstein is gonna lead us back to success, have at.
But as one of the more knowledgeable (& even better at making compelling, graphic arguments) posters on the board,
I can't understand how you or anyone would feel even remotely hopeful about any of our "proposed" starting 5 being even competent, much less dominant. And IMO, dominant should be the goal.
