I hope the secondary can be kept together after this year.... but if I was in charge and the play stays as is, I'm looking for the biggest impacting OLB/Edge. If we had a someone who could bring serious consistent pressure and needed to be accounted for by the offensive on the outside, this I feel would push the whole defence to a new level. This is nothing new mind you and many posters haveby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Interesting to hear his take on Edwards vs Noteboom. I get that the Rams want to give Noteboom playtime to help get him up to speed/evaluate him for potentially taking over LT if our aged wonder retires. But surely they must have decided that Noteboom is at least as good as Edwards for this to happen. Why would you handicap yourself and not put in the best 5 to try and win games this year?by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Better and at the same time maybe some other teams catch on to a few things we're doing.... But I like what we're seeing right now. I'm really looking forward to hopefully seeing A Robinson (if he decides to join in the fun). Fox was getting moved out of the hole a few times I zeroed in him (to be fair he was also being doubled!), but I'm intrigued to see Robinson, Brockers' and Donald asby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
He just doesn't seem to have IT as the kicker..... KO nothing special and he's certainly anything but automatic in the short kicking game. Man his kicks are low. Having Kupp back there just doesn't make sense on so many levels to me.... he's not that quick twitch instant accelerator that can gain 10 yards. Risk of injury to a main offensive weapon just not worth it compared to what he brings aby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I just took that figure straight off Over the Cap. Didn't we have some carry over from last year though (Talib trade?) Which is added on to that $198M? Yer, that's the cap floor and probably will be nearer the $200m or more, just depending on this on how they spread the lost revenue? That's what I was guessing at, and the Rams and teams must have been given some sort of approx guide valuby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I think the Rams must have some idea of what next years overall Cap will be, to be happy signing all these contracts. Over the Cap's salary Cap Calculator which is working on the '21 Season Cap being the base of $176M means the Rams are $23M over without Woods contract accounted for! I hope so, that would be a nice upgrade from in houseby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
was one of the few college games for some reason I could often see in the UK.... I loved him there too. I remember feeling Buffalo got a barging with Woods in the 2nd round and wished the Rams had got him. Love that he made it back to us!by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
he just seemed to glide around. and on punt returns look out! I Love Bruce also, but Ellard is still the favby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Maybe.. but from what I saw watching him, several times he just miss judged it and essentially over ran the player and put him out of position to properly breakdown. So some of those misses could be due to lack of preseason and just settling down a bit, letting the game flow and not trying to do too much. Only time I got seriously injured (ACL), was first game of season and I over ran aby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Kupp's contract looks like a total bargain (as long as he stayed healthy)by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Just changed, Ramsey just got big boy dollars. The other players who didn't get big contracts, Well JJenkins was offered a pretty big contract and Fisher was pis##d that they didn't up it a little and match the Giants. TJohnson, got paid FT money and then realised maybe wasn't that great for that sort of money... poor old Jets. LJoyner, I liked him but not for a mega contract and whaby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Keep your best players and pay them the going rate/what you can. As old-school said, football is an ever changing chess game. One week your mega bucks WR is just a decoy/extra blocker..... until the opponent's maybe totally commit to stopping the run and boom big yards or TD's. Kupp is a great weapon and I bet other teams spend time on how they can remove him from Goff's plans. The thinby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Don't we break even with Whitworth if he retires next year.. roughly $5m cap hit from signing bonus but save $5m in salary? Floyd is going to cost us $3m in dead cap tooby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
that's what I find myself unconsciously doing anyway.... and just marvelling at how he gets past people just all the time. Going to enjoy the years with him on our team.by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
it all looks perfectly do-able. Not that it matters to me,as its the Rams money and all, but I still enjoy seeing how they put these contracts together and make the cap work. I also want to see how it compares with Whites.by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
white/bone yadda yadda and as for the new blue with blue it just looks boring and doesn't pop to me.......by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
thanks.. I would love the heritage blue and whites but would also love the now heritage yellow and blue... man I miss those colours already.by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't see in the uniform where the colours Sunset or Orange are being used??? is this the to be released colour rush uniforms or something?by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I bet he's the guy they cut to sign the new RB!!!! naa only joking who knows, I like the sound of him, but it wouldn't be the first time!by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
be interesting to see how the deal is laid out compared to the new deal Tre'Davious White just signed. He is also listed by many as one of the top 5 CB's. I wonder how the two deals compare....by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I just thought it was interesting as up until I read this I seem to have had the impression that the Rams were about $4M under the cap. This space was presumed to being kept as part of Ramsey's or Kupp's extensions?by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
One of the biggest storylines of the offseason for the Rams is their salary cap situation. Their decisions to move on from Todd Gurley, Brandin Cooks, Clay Matthews and Nickell Robey-Coleman were all financially driven, as the team attempted to get under the cap for not only this year, but also freeing up money in future seasons. They’ll need to do some more finagling, however, after setby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
We're in the process of hopefully starting an extension soon, which will create a small office.........or so my wife thinks.....real use is my long awaited Rams cave!! That is some collection of Rams jerseys CL......... and I would love to get one of those Mcfarlane Eric Dickerson figures - only going for $330 on ebay plus postage and customs to Scotland??? Thanks for sharing.by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm surprised in a way by the one WR they sign and brought back..... These players were the only ones of their position groups not brought back: OL ... Jeremiah Kolone ILB Clay Johnson OLB Justin Lawlerby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
can't cut and paste listby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
weren't they the team that was looking to sign him as a FA until the Rams picked him in the 7th. Not sure I would have risked him until he'd had more time to get back from knee repair.by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Seems our 7th LB's Hope he makes PS and had time to heal for next year, I liked his play in college pre injuryby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm trying to hold off .... but I know I'm going to crack come a week Monday morning!!!by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I was thinking it must be due to his KO ability... Also maybe not surprising that a rookie out of college maybe takes a little to longer to settle down and just do his thing? Whats the likely hood of the Rams keeping either of the other two K's on the practice squad just in case Sloman can't handle it?by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
