I am getting battered in the playoffs. KC kicker out with Covid, top WR Hill Covid, TE Freiermuth concussion, RB Mitchell still out, RB Hunt Covid, QB Brady lost three playmakers, RB Mixon playing through injuries. So hoping for some points from D. SF v Tenn tonight. Tenn gets back Brown but has a backup leftside of the oline. May also affect RT if he moves to LT. According to overthecap, we will be 2.4 million under a 208.2 cap. However, as that is with only 44 players we are actually over the cap even if we sign players to the minimum salary to fill out a 51 man roster. We will have 8 starters including Gay our kicker as FAs. If Whit retires that would give the rams 13 million more in cap space.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
Here is my take on it. It will depend on two issues. The first is whether the fact that his contract with the Browns was changed to eliminate future contracted years matters or if the comp picks are only based on his current contract with the Rams. The Browns changed his contract to eliminate future years. This goes against App. V #8 about comp picks. App. V, §8 now makes explicit that anyby The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com

Post trade deadline it is harder to fix the problem you mentioned, especially when the rams are low on the waiver wire. The rams depth at WR was poor as we recently lost out three WRs. So adding OBJ improves the team depth.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
D Will is not active yet. He is designated to return but that opens a three week period where he can practice and not count toward the 53 man roster. At any point in that window he can be activated but as of now he is not on the active roster.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
He now has a 21 day window to be activated. He is able to practice with the team but not able to play in games until he is activated.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
Yes I keep seeing 1-3 against NO and 20-4 against the rest of the league. It should be 1-3 against NO, 0-2 against the rams, and 20-2 against every other team.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
Thanks - I saw that too. Same policy holds in baseball so I should have assumed that was the case in football as well.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
He would not go through waivers. He would be a free agent.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
I see you are looking at the rams list where it shows a 4 and four sixes. The problem is that teams are capped at 4 comp picks for players. So Fox's contract is worthy of a sixth compensation pick, however it does not count as the rams had already received four comp picks prior to his contract coming up. So we do not get any compensation for that player loss. We get a 3rd for Holmes (which doeby The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
The four current picks include a comp pick that was also counted in the 5 como picks statement. They will a comp 3rd around pick 100. They will have a comp pick in the 4th around 139, there own 5th, three comp 6th picks, around 205, 206, 207 (overthecap has us with the first 3 6th rounders), and then Miami's and our 7th. We also have minimum cap space to add players and we will see a bunch of plaby The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
Missed a whole year so that year - 0%.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
Von Miller PFF They have him as an 85.6 overall grade. He missed all of last year. He had 8 sacks in 19 (15 games), prior to that double digits every year except 13 wjen he only played 9 games. He is a FA after this year so if not resigned, will get us a comp pick back. So we lose a late 2 and a late 3 in 2022 but maybe get a later 3 or 4 back in 2023. At least 20 QB hits each year except 13.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
He would not have been traded away.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
We were up against the cap. Could be just to have some flexibility. Every time a player goes on IR and the rams sign a new player to the 53, they chew into the leftover cap space. Assuming the players we bumped up get the minimum salary and they are only up for three weeks, they would cost the rams about 240000 dollars. Another player goes down, and then we are out of cap space. That is just forby The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
He had no draft grade from nfl.com. Here is an article from when Houston grabbed him off of waivers. I am doing this from my phone so I am not sure how to add the link. At worst you can and paste.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
Practice Squad Buddy Howell 6-1 225 RB 4th yr Last three years on Houston had 5 rushes in 19, 16 last year but played in 15, 16 and 14 games each year so probably special teams. Listed as on rams for two games this year. He was called up for week 3. I have not found the other week yet. He is likely the next man up. Here is a quote from the ramswire when we signed him to the practice squad. Hby The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
Not sure how much that is mattering. Down top RB and a good slot WR. Clowney and Garrett as well as three CBs listed as questionable. Even if all play, it would be hard to stop Arizona with less of a rush and a hobbled defensive backfield. I would not put this on Cleveland's QB. OTOH, Arizona missing head coach and a few players as well.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
We cut him in in final roster cuts prior to his second season with the rams. He had at least two more years on a rookie contract when cut. It had nothing to do with salary. The DL was Donald, Brockers,SJD, Fox, Gaines, and Smart. SJD, Gaines and Smart are not playing the same position as Franklin Myers. No way JFM takes Donald's or Brockers' spot. Could they have used him than Smart or Natrez Patby The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
