1983- John Robinson's first game as Head Coach (and also Parcells w/ the NYG) and Dickerson's debut. Not a highlight reel game (16-6 win) but it was nice to start off a new era with a road win... 1984- the three safeties game at Anaheim 1988- Rams put up 45 points @ the Giants; Everett w/ 5 TDs to 5 different receivers 1994- another not very exciting game but was the last Rams game I eveby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Control Thibodeaux (11.5 sacks, 12 TFL). Run the ball (Giants are bottom 4 in YPG and YPC allowed). Get after the QB (77 sacks allowed...). Don't turn the ball over (Giants 3-1 when they force 3+ TO, 2-9 otherwise).by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
1978. My family were members of the Italian American Club in Las Vegas. I was 7 years old. They're big annual holiday party happened to fall on Dec. 31st that year. The whole main hall is decked out for Christmas and New Years. After dinner I convince my parents to let me go watch the game at the bar. They let 7-year old me sit at the bar solo, ordering round after round of Shirley Temples and chby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Turner and Young will only get better. And I think Desjuan Johnson is guy that will become a good role player with more time (has played 64 snaps in 9 games so far this year). But they really need one more quality pass rusher opposite Young. They can address both though (Edge and Corner), no question.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Posted this the other night but they really need to extend Jones after the season- and ahead of Dotson.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah. On one hand you can say well, he's only caught 20 passes, 6th on the team. But he's caught 19 (and 4 TDs) during the past 6 games and you would think that usage continues going forward. I would think he earns a good amount more than the $1.17M he's earned this year in 2024. Not $10M/year or anything but maybe 3X?by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Nacua might very well end up with one of the top-5 seasons by a WR in Rams history. And Williams has a good shot at one of the top-12 rushing seasons by a Ram. His 1,057 yards is currently 27th best by a Rams running back. Needs 195 yards to pass Gurley's 2018 season. Pretty crazy...by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I'd rather they keep Robinson but I get your point. If you're a veteran, FA WR looking to hit the reset button the Rams have to be viewed as a very attractive destination.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Agree. Kupp has fought injuries all season and clearly banged his shoulder last night. This mini-bye comes at a good time for him. Hopefully they give him the next 10 days to really recoup and recover.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Only caught 6 of 12 targets vs. NO. But that is also after catching 22 of 26 (85%) and 3 TDs over the previous three games. Not his best season by any means but he's hardly flailing either.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
And I do think they'll use both free agency and the draft to bolster both.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think it is fair to think they should have beaten both WAS and NO by wider margins. Each felt like they could have been 25-30 point wins. But that is a good problem to have. As they said on the broadcast, this is still a VERY young team that is learning how to play 60 minutes. Tonight they had a ST breakdown and I think it is fair to say the Rams are last in the league in ST play apart fromby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
For a team that many thought would be vying for a top 5 Draft pick, and winning 7 games at most, IF they can get in then anything beyond that is gravy. And that actually puts FAR more pressure on the opposition. If the Rams get in at 9-8 and play at Philly or Detroit, the pressure is on them. Anything at that point could happen. Reminds me a lot of their 1983 team that got into the playoffs lby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
And I would prioritize him over Dotson.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I assume he'd be the 3rd OT. He's only taken 6 offensive snaps this year but he is certainly a guy that they will hopefully be able to develop into a bigger role for 2024. If Jackson remains the LT in 2024 then McCLendon could replace Noteboom as the swing backup. And if they draft a LT high in the Draft and make Jackson the 3rd OT they can still find a depth role for McClendon (RG, RT).by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Stafford's passer rating (90.9) is 15th in the NFL. But his ESPN QBR (62.8) is 7th. His DVOA ranking is 9th and PFF also ranks him 9th (out of 40 QBs).by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I thought he'd be a nice 3rd down back- good pass blocker, catch the ball sometimes, give them 3-5 carries/game....by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
That's scouting. That's coaching. That's team culture.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Not to be taken lightly. They have a lot to play for. But a few notes: Saints RB are averaging only 3.5 YPC this year. Only QB Tayson Hill is producing well (4.9 YPC) as a runner. WR Olave is easily their biggest passing game threat (72 catches, 918 yards and 4 TD). Saints defense has allowed just a 74.4 opposing QB rating this year, 2nd best in the NFL, and 6.2 YPA (t-5th). ...groin injury?... Sorry can't be helped. The only thing I ever think of when that comes up...by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
And Rams are 32nd... I have to think the Rams will likely make some changes there unless somehow things look drastically better the next 4 games. And unless other coaches leave I don't see other coaching changes needed.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
To me flexibility is the way to describe it because, as it stands, they can go in a lot of directions to bolster the roster. But there are very few things they HAVE to do as far as big FA $$ or high draft picks. I think they will go for free agent help at Edge and CB. Good NFL defenses have quality pass rushing and CB play. Period. And while they found a diamond in Young they can't count on (by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Totally agree. Has that fluid motion and athleticism that just says he belongs in the league and having a role will not be too much for him. Tough to say what his developmental ceiling can be but I think we can feel very good about him as a quality TE2 (which they really have not had since Everett and then Mundt left) going forward.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Jonathan Allen and Daron Payne are two good DT...by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Nacua needs 87 receiving yards to become just the 9th Rams receiver to ever reach 1,200+ yards. Only 5 Rams WRs have ever reached 1,300+ yards in a season (Bruce, Holt, Hirsch, Ellard and Kupp). Kyren Williams needs 60 yards for 1,000 in his career. He needs 199 yards to become the 13th Rams' RB to rush for 1,000+ yards in a season. Aaron Donald's next sack will make him just the 41st plby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
They can feel very good about him as their TE2 going forward. Looks like he clearly belongs. Will need to add a blocking TE3 in the offseason.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I would not mind him back for depth. But the RFA tender is $2.83M and they probably don't do that. Maybe he is a guy they let go and bring back at a lower number. Alaric Jackson, on the other hand, may need to be tendered at the 2nd round level ($4.63M) depending on how he plays down the stretch. Still cheap for a starting LT regardless. And yes, I still agree that LT should be a 1st round drby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com

I think it's 50/50 at best he plays past 2024. And I think he'll be pretty clear with the Rams about his intentions.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
