Obviously, being in the Divisional round of the playoffs should be motivation enough, but I have to think if the Rams know on Sunday they'll have the chance to extract FULL revenge on the Niners for the right to go to the Super Bowl, it has to take their motivation to even greater heights! Yep...it was so warm the day of the game that the kickoff temperature wasn't the lowest in Super Bowl history for an outdoor venue. IIRC, kick off temperature was 49 degrees (Namath looked a bit silly standing at mid-field with a mink coat on for the coin toss, but I get the history behind it!) Not sure how it looked on TV, but there was no defender within 15 yards of Jefferson when the ball was released. Stafford HAS to see opportunities like this come playoff time. If he his Van there, the outcome might have been almost the same as if he had connected with OBJ. 100% correct. Huge momentum shift at that point. Place was rocking. Saleh said it was a miscommunication. According to him, play was supposed to be end-around to Braxton Berrios (which is still a questionable call tbh). If what you're saying is true, I guess Saleh didn't want to fully throw the kid under the bus. Shouldn't have even come down to this. Kicking the FG was the play. The two point conversion play was the same one that worked vs Packers in Divisional playoff game last year. (Van caught it and pitched to Akers). OBJ slipped when he planted to catch the ball on Sunday. Probably threw timing of the play off.by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com

Just scored two tickets on Club level for $150 a piece (Ticketmaster), Section 209. Going to head down with my s/o. Personally, I'm glad game is now 1 pm (work on Monday lol), but I'm sure the players preferred the original 4:15 start. Right with you on this, AlbaNY. Was nodding from beginning to end too! Folks, some time down the road, you are going to long for these days with "ugly" wins, double digit win seasons, etc. If someone in 2002 told me that beginning in 2004 we wouldn't enjoy a winning season for over a decade, I would have told them they were beyond crazy. You have two yards and one play to go for win. If you don't make it you deserve to lose IMO. No guarantee that you are even going to get a shot in OT never the less at the 2yd line. Two SB wins...two legendary plays during those two wins (crazy escape from sack to hit Tyree in XLII and the most amazing throw you'll ever see to Manningham late in XLVI). Interesting, but I see this as nothing more than a coincidence. After all, the players for '99 and '01 are all between their mid-40s and early 50s now - no bearing on the current team. Nothing correlates between those teams and now...the players are different... the uniforms are different...Heck, even the stadium is different! This all sounds good on the surface, but how do you folks feel about a coach changing (or significantly modifying) his system to fit the "needs" of one player (11 personnel to 10 personnel)? Not sure I'm a huge fan of that. Second, and perhaps more importantly, our offense just got dog walked by the Titans. Teams watched the film and are licking their chops.
