Package of Plays for Perkins Needed?

No, Stafford is not getting benched. It wouldn't be the right move for A LOT of reasons. With that said, wouldn't it be wise for McVay to come up with a package of plays for Perkins to run each game (4 or 5 reps)? Perhaps some Wildcat? This would address two issues:

1) Keep the defense "honest." Perkins has the wheels and elusiveness to make plays with his legs. Gives opposing D-coordinators something else to game plan against.

2) Smoke and mirrors approach to addressing our O-Line deficiencies. Will also reduce the amount of punishment Stafford takes week in and week out.

If we had this in our arsenal yesterday, there is a much greater likelihood that we could have pick up that final first down needed to close the game out.
