Package of Plays for Perkins Needed? - 1 year ago
No, Stafford is not getting benched. It wouldn't be the right move for A LOT of reasons. With that said, wouldn't it be wise for McVay to come up with a package of plays for Perkins to run each game (4 or 5 reps)? Perhaps some Wildcat? This would address two issues: 1) Keep the defense "honest." Perkins has the wheels and elusiveness to make plays with his legs. Gives opposing D-cooby NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com

The league fines players for not wearing their socks high enough. Would certainly think they would fine him for not adhering to the uniform of the remainder of the team. Imagine watching the Rams lose like this.... Now imagine watching the Rams lose this game in a college dorm lounge in Massachusetts (UMass) surrounded by 20+ Patriot fans! When that pass was completed the place exploded like Times Square on VJ Day. One of the worse losses EVER and to have to experience it in that environment was a double gut punch. After the VERY dubious way we qualified for Super Bowl LIII, followed by scoring a measly THREE points on the biggest stage of all, I have had a bad taste in my mouth for the past three years. Like really bad. The fact that we held the Patriots to 13 points is irrelevant. First Olympics I actually remember (I was 6), not because of men's basketball, but because of the SENSATION that was Olga Korbut and, of course, Mark Sptiz.
