QuoteNewMexicoRam Doggone it. Wished he would have waited until 2024 when the Rams have another #1. This guy looks like another MacAfee, Casper, Bavaro, Rudolph. Yeah, he's the real deal, hopefully nobody in out division drafts him because he can do it all that's for sure and besides Ken MacAfee the rest for great pros. With Dave Casper IMO being one of the best TE's of all time.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
I hope the Rams claim him because it could rejuvenate McVay with the hope of keeping Mayfield with the uncertainty of Stafford. Be nice if they add Mayfield he could play as early as the Monday Night game against Green Bay and then onward from there. I sure hope it happens.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
This was a mistake and I applaud McVay for trying to empower Thomas Brown both in the offense and allowing him to hire his replacement too, but it failed and now it's time to make it right. Brown is an excellent RB Coach and the loss of Wes Phillips to the Vikings as hurt the TE group too. An upgrade is need there. Also I would look to move Chris Shula back to OLB coach sending Thad Bogardus pby den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Like Michael Penix Jr., if he's available later, however, Mayfield would not be bad and I know during the draft McVay did like him, not sure how he feels now.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams43 QuoteRam_Ruler What is there obsession with Kendrick? He might have an NFL future one day. There are parts to his game that they like. He must practice well and is willing to be coached, but I just don't see the ability IMHO and I watched him in college too.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
He has no speed so he covers soft and his tackling needs work too. I would rather see Shaun Jolly & Durant over Kendrick.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteRams43 Why would we want Joe Barry back? He’s seemingly struggled everywhere he’s been. Barry is a very good position coach (LB), however, has struggled as a DC with the exception of last season. The Ram OLB's have really struggled under Thad Bogardus as I believe Bogardus is a tad over his head. Barry could come back or they could move Chris Shula back to coaching OLB's from the Sby den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Kevin O'Connell was plus O'Connell did call or recommend plays as well, McVay said that to him in a highlight.. "Great Play call." Anyway I'm sure the coaching staff could have an entire facelift as I expect several changes including RB Coach, changes in the secondary with perhaps bringing back Pleasant. I became a true Ram fan in 73 at 7 in September. I loved John Hadl..RIP Big John it was a pleasure to watch you performby den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
There is no guarantee of that and I believe even if a team has a young signal caller that finishes last, they will more then likely trade their current QB for the opportunity to draft Caleb Williams instead. Much like the Cardinals did after drafting Josh Rosen and then the following year they drafted Kyler Murray. However, if the Rams were able to ensure they drafted Williams, then I'm in on tby den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Not to steal from George Thorogood, but the Rams must come away with that triumvirate during the draft or free agency at the minimum. Also I strongly believe they need to make a change at OL Coach and assistant OL Coach with Kevin Carberry & Nick Jones, but I'm not sure McVay will make that change.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteClassicalwit Sweet! Allen should be good for, what, 2 1/2 or 3 quarters? That's why I would move on from Allen. Go with Shelton at Center next year & draft a Center too who can challenge and also provide great depth too.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Quote21Dog but his arm isn't one of them. Either he's guiding the ball (not letting loose) or his arm strength is lacking. Arm Strength is lacking IMO and we've seen it in preseason.too. I believe Perkins can be a very good backup, however, that's his ceiling due to his arm IMHO.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm hoping that McVay finds his running game, regardless of the score. Double TE sets with Carter playing FB and regardless of the OL as I expect Arcuri at LT, continue to run the ball and find a rhythm. On defense, sit Rapp & Scott go with Lake & Yeast plus less Kendrick and more Durant. As to Bryce Perkins I expect him to do quite a bit with his legs, but I really don't believe he haby den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteferragamo79 and trade Robinson for better fit. I'd look for vet LT or start Jackson there......upgrade center and guard as NB and Allen are average and often hurt I agree on all of these moves, if the Rams can do this, they would be back on the road to recovery.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteDESERT RAM Maybe the coach figures Evans was the only guy who knew the offense well enough to trot out there and he was simply offering encouragement for the players self esteem. Coach's have to do those things regardless of what a fan thinks. He shouldn't be criticized for it. Desert Ram This is where I disagree, you don't have to say anything. I love Coach McVay, but this Bobby Evans thing is becoming the big dig in Boston, just outrageous. He praised Evans in the beginning of the season having played some quality minutes and last week stating that Evans answered the call at LT. Coach, Enough! He's not very good and he's not getting better with public praise & appreciation. In fact, I would cut Evans to send a message, A.J. Arcby den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteL.A.Rams In 1976, Bud Carson had perhaps the most amazing series of games by any defensive coordinator in NFL history. In the final 9 games of that season, the Steelers gave up 6, 0, 0, 0, 3, 16, 3, 0, and 0 points. I wonder why he left the Steelers after that season and how the Rams managed to steal him away. Quotepromomasterj A real OC who calls plays. Or at least a better OC than Liam. Not a fan of Jay Gruden, although maybe he's one that McVay might trust to call plays. Liam Coen is not calling the plays, so I can't blame him either, although not sure what McVay requires from his OC.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteJimYoungblood53 in Rams backfield---and he's best pass blocker guess it's the Kyren Williams era IMO, I just think they've become frustrated with his injuries and they are not renewing so they want to give the reps to others.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotedodgerram Well, Perkins has very good size and he can run. His arm is not the strongest but Montana or Warner did not have cannons either. You can have great success without a great arm if you make good decisions, being accurate with your throws and limiting turnovers. Williams was special there and now is on a bigger stage and no doubt IMO, will be the number one overall pick in 2024 barring injury. Soon the NFL will be throwing money at Lincoln Riley too, but IMO, I think he's set now at USC.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
His arm IMO, is not very good and I loved Perkins at Virginia. He's smart runs really well and is tough to bring down, but his passes tend to float and I'm not sure he can make all the throws at this level. As to Zach Wilson I'm surprised how he's handling himself because BYU QB's tend to be more mature with the for the most part.
