Kolone actually rated high with PFF, but I would be fine going with Skura at Center & Aboushi at LG. Or even Skura at LG with Kolone at Center if the Rams feel good about his & Stafford exchange. Either way, no Bobby Evans, in fact, I would cut Evans and activate A.J. Arcuri from the practice squad.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteClassicalwit But it's an injured and beat up cream puff. The Rams ought to win this game 30-0. Right nothing comes easy. One game at a time and get to the bye week. See if their RG Austin Corbett will switch teams.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Because I know the result. Please cut him and add Arcuri to the roster. I understand that Arcuri can't play guard, but Aboushi & Skura can and I'm betting the house, they are better then Evans.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotepromomasterj That's 2 blocked punts in 5 weeks - is that some kind of Rams record? There has to be someone else. What about the guy they signed as an emergency back up? Very odd because Matt Orzech was fine last year, but that's two straight. The sad part is they had Matt Overton in a couple of weeks ago, but now he's in Dallas. Not sure what's going on there and why his guy is goingby den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
I still believe he's an excellent Head Coach just didn't get the QB at Carolina, but he got paid. Overall watch for Rhule to get an offer from Auburn, not sure if he wants to go head to head with Saban & Smart, but I could see Auburn come calling and I like that job over the likes of Nebraska or Arizona State.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com

Quote21Dog [ Neither could his old man as a HC. And they keep reporting to the contrary. I understand you don't want to reflect negatively at times, but facts are facts, his Dad was 13-20-1 at Pitt & 19-18 at USC. Plus similar to his son, he never called plays until he was the OC at the University of Pittsburgh in 1989 the same year he took over as Head Coach. Again it amazes me how sby den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
When the Broncos hired Nathaniel Hackett I thought it was a huge mistake and he's proven me right. Hackett when given the opportunity to call plays at Syracuse University & in Jacksonville was not that good and he never called a play in Green Bay, but he was Aaron Rodgers drinking buddy. One & done for Hackett is guaranteed especially being that the new ownership group never hired him.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Should have been more, but Rams made some mistakes the Bucs never got close to the end zone.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Per Jourdan's tweet, Allen might not come back until after the bye. That leaves either Jeremiah Kolone or Matt Skura who is on the practice squad. Kolone snaps the ball well both in shotgun & when the QB is directly under center, but IMO, does not have the athleticism to pull or get to the next level. Skura the last time he played had some snap issues, but is more athletic and has some succby den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com

The one debate that drives me crazy in the NFL is "He's got gameday experience." But, he sucks coach, he sucks on gameday and he sucks in preseason, so why keep a guy around just because he has some gameday experience? I would rather try somebody else, maybe even a rookie that has more upside. Last night was not good and adding Kolone to Center made it that much worse. QuoteBigGame81 They should've went with an offensive minded coach to pair with Herbert. I didn't understand at the time why they had to hurry and poach the Rams for a coach that didn't have much experience. Very True as Staley had a meteoric rise even to become a defensive coordinator as he was an outside LB Coach in Denver before McVay hired him. IMO, Goff has looked really good so far and I hope he continues to ball. IMO, I don't think McVay felt Goff had what he was looking for from the neck up, but in Detroit with that Offensive Line, things are beginning to come together.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com

Going to be a tough challenge, their defense is one of the best in the NFL and they are always jacked to play the Rams.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamgator Actually feel better when we play them AT Frisco?? I don't like playing them because they are a tough matchup for the Rams and it does not seem to matter who the QB is. Their defense is one of the best in the NFL and they play a tad dirty too. They run the ball well and the Ram defense does not usually respond well to a run heaving oriented football team. So it doesn't matterby den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm not so sure, now durability always a concern for Henderson, but Henderson has a better burst and is better catching the football IMO. Akers has the ability to break tackles better and sets up his blocks, but IMO, against a defense like Buffalo or San Francisco Henderson is a better for option because of getting to the hole faster plus I like Henderson's ball security much better.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Has a better burst and seems to find the end zone better. Akers did improve, but his ball security is still a work in progress. I would go with Henderson when you're in close as it seems McVay still wants to give Akers his chances, but nothing wrong with going with the guy who is better in that situation.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com

Edwards dose seem to struggle at times, but the coaching staff seems to trust him as they went with Edwards last year at LT against the Vikings before Allen's injury, which trust Alaric Jackson into the game shifting Edwards back to LG & Shelton to Center.
