Quoteleafnose I guess the other good news is that the guys at WR will have been working with him as the "scout team" and have some repertoire. Yeah that's going to be a very interesting part of this. That question of who does he have rapport with that leads to who he looks to when he needs an outlet. Allen might be that guy. Higs will be out which means that bigger role is thereby merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
1. Pay Dotson. And hopefully that is us locking him up prior to FA so we can focus on adding one other good starter to help upgrade this roster. 2. Move Jackson to RG. Jackson would probably be very good at RG. Problem is to do this we need to fill LT. Since FA is very tough to find LTs in, that leads to entering the draft with a hole on the OL which I would prefer not to do as it makes LTby merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
Right on. Don't be messin with the Big Rig. :thumbsupby merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
Before the season... I woulda told you to put the crack pipe down! Crazy isn't it. But I'll take it. :thumbsupby merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
Happy for him. Hope he can get us that dub too. :beercanby merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRockRam Stafford a no brainer. Same with AD. Jones has had nagging injuries most of the year. Higbee dinged his shoulder last week. Noteboom a bad wheel. Valuable sub. Kupp....dinged up. Williams....who would take the chance? I think we're close to saying that the offense runs through him, now. Nacua will only play until he breaks the rookie WR record. Hope its in the first quarterby merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah it's crazy. I hope they make a series of terrible hires so they can get a realistic grounding. It is sorely needed for that bunch.by merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
I would focus moreso on the owner than the roster. He's not some young coordinator who has to jump in this hiring window. He can pick and choose his location. If there are 8 teams with an opening he will be the favorite for 8 jobs and rightly so. Harbaugh fought with his GM in SF and that weak owner undoubtedly left an impression on him. I seriously doubt he gets lured into another situationby merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
If he gets a combo platter of National Championship and big dolla signs from the NFL it might not matter how much he's enjoying the kids. I think there's a reasonable chance he gets that particular platter too.by merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
Looked locked in and aggressive. Shame he got hurt. Next man up and hope Allen is ready to go.by merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSpeed_Kills Penix has looked very sharp agree…. he’s a lefty which is interesting. Somebody is going to get a good one Yeah I like him too. Mentioned on another board how much he reminds me of Stabler. Another calm and cool lefty who settles everyone around him down and you know he's gonna do something good. And he does. Very similar in some ways but the injuries are a real risk with hby merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRockRam You talk about "blind spots" as though you or others can see things McVay doesn't. We have no knowledge of what goes on behind the scenes and why certain decisions are made as they are, and there is no way that Coaches just tell the media everything they know or why they did what they did. Sure, our Kicking has been abysmal. I hate it. You think McVay doesn't know that?by merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
Feels so good. We're the team that has nothing to lose now. Not a bad place to be. :beercanby merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
Get Dotson done before FA. Add Evans in FA. Defensive draft. I think that would have us in real good shape for contention.by merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
If he comes out I'd love to have him behind Stafford.by merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotealyoshamucci I'm rolling with it. I'd pay Dotson. I know that's controversial but ... we win games with offense and I haven't liked a line this much in ages. They protect Stafford in two ways, keeping him clean and keeping the running game a threat. I would even keep Shelton and draft a backup IL/OC ... It bothers me he is playing his best just in time for a contract. Just froby merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
Plate it. Get some closeups. Show the Rams player actually eating it. I mean c'mon man.by merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
Big game vs the Vikes that will likely eliminate the loser. Gotta give the Packers leadership cred for sitting him.by merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSpeed_Kills Clev, @Balt, and NO I think in those games and considering the defenses that really needs to be acknowledged Man I am just thrilled with the balance in the offense and the way they can run and on stacked boxes!! Merlin I have the feeling the Rams are going to need to win the next two to get in and I am here for it I want the Rams to absolutely have to win @ SF to get inby merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
Is how far the Rams OL has come this season. The physicality of this front is significantly better than it has been in prior seasons. What will that equate into in the games ahead... Well it's going to be fun to see that unfold. :thumbsupby merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
Well said. Lovely result.by merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
Quote21Dog Also have to consider Allen just starting getting meaningful playing time the last several games. What's really entertaining is that Higs was looking tired before that game where Allen showed up for us. Now he seems rejuvenated. Competition is a beautiful thing. :thumbsupby merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
NFC North wildcard competitors need to lose. Vikings lose vs the Lions we look really good. Packers probably won't lose but we can hope.by merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
Not all of them are gonna be like Puka. Rookie generally means up and down play especially at TE. Generally it's better to just appreciate the plays where they actually contribute positively. And this guy looks like he is going to contribute positively so try to enjoy it a little. You'll have more fun that way.by merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
Not like we need to have the negatives pounded into us lest we enjoy things too much.by merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteleafnose TBH, no one often talks about the blitz pickup, but KW met a blitzer with a grueling block. Yeah man. He demonstrates how much of pass pro is willpower. It's a tough job and he is a stud at buying the QB just enough time. Remarkable player. :beercanby merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
They are a very dangerous team. Because this year's team is very physical up front, which offensively has always been a weakness. But as Dotson has settled in it feels like this line has gelled into a group that is better than the sum of their parts. When that happens you can get some magic.by merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
But it shows how important a back is doesn't it. This run game was producing before he got hurt and resumed at an even better level when he returned. He's almost automatic on third and short, which gives this offense an enormous boost and makes them even harder to get off the field. And the OL since Dotson was brought in is a different unit. More consistent in both run and pass. We're actuby merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSpeed_Kills that is clear. he has had more impactful plays in 3 weeks that Jefferson made this year or at any point last year Kupp Robinson Nucua is a problem for teams. We have our 3 WRs. And with Stafford now spreading the ball around to Kyren and the TEs (insert name) this offense is a real issue for teams What Jefferson gave us that Robinson doesn't is a bit more of that deep threatby merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
Well if he can give us a TD a week or let's say a couple key catches a game he's a good replacement for Jefferson and maybe an upgrade. And he is already more consistent than Tutu and I'd trust him more in key moments. That TD he caught on the sight adjustment for example, I don't think Tutu makes that adjustment and we might not get that TD. But he's also probably not a long term answer becby merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
