I think there is a glich with a few players-davis, jamar johnson, tay gowan--where they last way too long. Jamar you can always get in the fourth with my settings. Yes, it's quite an excellent toy.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Totally agree. I think he'd be an awesome NFL split field safety. Would really like the pick.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Absolutely agree. CB is imo the most important position to address and it's not close.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Our wrs get separation. With Stafford's accuracy he won't have any problem. This offense is going to hum with a QB that can actually read a defense, make progressions, and improvise.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Hard pass. Less crazy the better.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
He's got a great burst for the pass rush. But given how we play the run game I think he is a poor fit for our defense.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Currently the 2021 cap, percent of NFL revenues as dictated by the CBA, is unknown. The speculation is that revenue is down year over year and that will cause a decrease in the salary cap. Around 180 million is the number I have been seeing recently but we will definitely know by the start of the new league year March 17th. For reference, the cap for 2020 was 198 million. The Rams are overby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Its curious to me how I have not seen anyone bring up Kevin O"Connelly throughout this Goff/Stafford situation. O'connell worked the closest and the most w Goff. Perhaps his opinion helped sway McVay to changing his mind at Qb.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Dude is a good guy. The reason he was on the team was to perform on the field. His performance was not good enough to keep his job. He got replaced. That is life. I never saw him get insulted. Not talking w people you had a breakup with is natural and healthy. Sean did call him. Goff was the one who had to go. When you breakup w someone you leave them alone so they can adjust to their new lifby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
I think the Rams handled it fine. It's like breaking up with a girl. The end convo is a total waste if time. And it sounds as if the convo McVay and Goff had about Wolford starting was basically that conversation. McVay and Snead told the media the truth. Goffs performance earned a lack of complete support. The key, to me, is Goff very likely knew where he stood. But any convo w Goff about iby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Thanks for the post. I was optimistic about Goff but he lost me this year. He's hit his ceiling. All the work on handling pressure, throwing off platform, etc...and then to see the performance he put in last year. His accuracy is too inconsistent to be in a dink and dunk offense. He misses too many open reads. Forces the ball too much imo. And is a total disaster in pure passing situations.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Well said. I love the deal as well. It was obvious to me after this year Goff is not able to beat defenses in must throw situations like a Super Bowl contender needs from their Qb. Improving the Qb position was the only place I saw any hope of getting us further in the playoffs. Rams were aggressive and made a tremendous upgrade at qb.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com

He really wants us to believe he's a thug. Glad he's not my coach.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
I am. I'd start w goff and two number 1s.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Van was on that team too. Van transferred his last season to Florida, but Van was on Ole Miss with the other two as a junior and earlier.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
You can love where you are but still explore opportunities. Especially in the the NFL. The chance to run your own team seems very tempting. Though I think alot of the interest in him is to pick his brain and get to know him. I would be amazed if the Jets take a one year defensive coordinator as their coach. The Chargers job seems much less attractive given their financial situation.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
How about DWill? Dude is a stud.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
The plays were there. Goff missed them. It's on the film.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
The Rams minus the drop back passing game are very good. Goff and the McVay passing game is terrible. Unfortunately the nfl is about being able to throw the ball when you have to throw the ball. Other than Goff this team is hella talented.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Getting quality talent at a discount like a Darnold or Rosen would be a smart play. Goff won't ever win a championship. Dude can barely play nfl caliber ball.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Our rbs are fine. Spending any time thinking about rbs as the problem is insane. I get you are tired of it but the only problem is the drop back passing game.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
The passer rating is not a good tool to evaluate. For example, it doesn't adjust for dropped ints, gives full credit for tds where the receiver made the play(looking at you Gerald). The yac throws are important. But most important to the success of this offense will be the ten yard plus air throws in passing situations. Goff his a couple big long third downs last night. But all those missed cby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Ya, I wonder if he could complete half his passes with no defense on the field.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
That dude is Everret. I think McVay is scared to throw in the red zone.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com

Sacks are cool. But I'd take consistent pressure over sacks anyday.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
I thought he got hit by the linemen as he threw.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Say the money/cap space is worked out...would you all be interested in trading for JJ Watt? He's 15.5 this year and 17.5 next. So the money is a deal breaker I'm pretty sure. Not even sure id trade a third for the guy. Great dude but durability concerns and from what I've seen this year looks invisible.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Trading quality talent for lessor talent is a fast path to losing a lot of games. The Patriots have shown for years that you can scheme five man pressure. And they don't have Donald. Coaching needs to start manufacturing pressure.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
