Roger is a monster in the run game. But man he is not good in the pass game. I'd pass.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
When identifying the differences between Goff and Stafford, I would start with tight window throws. The production Stafford gets on throws to targets that are covered well is insane. Stafford creates offense in a way to me. Goff can take the offense that is there but you rarely, if ever, see him create it.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
I pretty sure signing a RB to a second contract at over 3 mil per is a bad idea 99.9% of the time.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Von was sooooo much better than all the other edge rushers we have tried. I'm a football junkie and can't believe how I have slept through Von's career. Dude is insane. Truly great player.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
This post season showed what positions matter most to winning an NFL championship. 1. Elite Qb. The Grapolo's can get you to the Championship game but almost never a win in the Super Bowl. 2. WRs that can defeat both man and zone coverage. Chase, Kupp, Hill, Deebo, etc. Got to have at least one. When you have two--Kupp and Obj your offense is tough to stop. 3. Running the ball doesn'tby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Ummm. Job one is sign Von. Job two is sign Obj.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Ya, wtf. Might as well make it official no in play penalties until under five minutes.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
I'll never understand. Dude made over 29 million in his NFL career. Sad.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
If you watch the highlight where you can see some of the overhead it is quite clear Warner targeted Stafford. There were two other Rams he passed to hit Stafford. And when he hit Stafford, Stafford was screen by a big guy and not moving. One of the all time dirtiest hits I've ever seen.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Wow. The levels in this post. Flores a failure? That team vastly over performed expectations. If he went through what I read he did how can anyone just continue to go with the status quo? I think it's pretty clear he knows he will not be a winner with the lawsuit in regards to money and job opportunities. There are other things in life worth fighting to improve. I wish him the bestby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Didn't get to see the pics but the refs weren't calling any penalties. Zero holding calls. Four during the play penalties ToTal. Eight total flags. The refs were clearly in a don't call anything mode. Some of the no calls were ridiculous...looking at von getting clotheslined, Floyd getting bent backwards vs Trent, the Stafford insanity. Ward should have gotten tossed out of the game for the hby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
A QB is definitely not maximizing his effectiveness if he doesn't throw any ints. It's a spectrum of value, risk/reward. Like Rodgers only throws to Davonte, and his backs and a couple to his te. He can get away w that in the regular season but in the playoffs the elite teams take that away. The elite level throws Matthew makes are unreal to me. If his decision making, physical throwingby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
His inaccurate throws really don't matter. The ints suck for sure. But if he hits one big throw for 3 inaccurate throws that is a winning QB. An exaggeration but I think the point is clear.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Disagree. If Kupp isn't held that's a TD. The throw looks good to me.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Which hit do you think was worse Ward's hit on OBJ or Warner's hit on Stafford after the pick?by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Thank you for saying this fact. Reeder is absolutely killing us. And Travin...dude makes plays. I know the green dot issue and communication has been a mess but can we play the best players. I respect what Reeder has done but he needs to not be a three down player.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
You definitely run a play to try for the TD there. Throwing anything not in the end zone is stupidity.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
That's my Quarterback. And I love it. He's the man.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
No way. I wouldn't trade anything for Zeke. His salary is ridiculous for his production and position. A first isn't worth the salary cap space. We should focus on only having cheap vet rbs or rbs on rookie deals.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
I think the whiners have a great shot at beating Dallas. And then I think the lowest seed goes to the highest seed.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Good post. I'm curious how many/what percentage of first seeds are won by a tiebreaker that isn't head to head. Playoffs would be fun if you added another team and everyone played the first week. Or you could add another team and everyone gets a bye. Games would probably be better if every team had a week off.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
I think most coaches are deferring because they want to have the opportunity to double dip. Double dip by score at end of the first and then again at start of the second. I've always preferred deferring. But I see value in your points.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
I would be interested in yards gained on average on first down. Good teams tend to avoid third downs by converting on first or second down. The inverse applies for defense.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
I was certain they were going to throw to Reeder's guy in the opposite side slot before the play. When they threw to Ramsay's guy I understood why they have won two games.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
I lift and have for awhile. I'd ask you to do some reading before believing that lifting hurts your joints. Kids doing basic strength building lifts like deadlifts, squats, bench press is nothing but good for them. Done correctly with supervision.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Goff vs Miami last year is as bad as it gets. This was comparable. Those two are terrible qbs.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Cool. Ya, a shift can be in any direction. Basically, the shift is a motion by one player where he is still a second before the ball is snapped. Thats how I see the rule.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
The key is when the ball is snapped. You can one person moving (motion) when the ball is snapped. For example , the jet motions they use. And can't go toward the line of scrimmage. Prior to the snap you could have multiple people moving simultaneously. This is a shift. With a shift all players on the offense must be still for one second prior to the snap. Henderson is performing a shift.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't know then numbers and haven't watched much of Young play but sacks are a bad way of measuring a pass rusher's true value. Pressures is better. Win rate, double team rate, etc. Clowney was always a power player. Never had the explosion, bend, hands of an elite edge rusher. He's a tweener who can't stay healthy. Also, a negative of rushing against right tackles is the QB can see yoby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Courtland Sutton, Jerry Juedy, Kim Hamlet, Noah Fant. Sick weapons. Any QB would want to play with those guys.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
