I didn't know the huge failure rate....but yes, I say OT in the 1st only....in 2018...hope we can trade up....Goff's future is at risk..by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com

Very sad the fired the 2 very guys, Bevell and Cable, that allowed us to DOMINATED Russ!by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
He can't replace Watkins, right? LOLby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
And, in my opinion finding skinny guys who can run (ala Troy HIll, Jeremtrius Butler, McKyer, Griffen) and can cover can be found in the 3rd-6th rounds.....of every draft. They can't tackle so well, and maybe they aren't tough, but so waht.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I hope the rams find 2 'truer' cover corners in the draft or in free agency---meaning let Tru Jo go.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Piggybacking what you wrote: A) Not bad.....I was think about Nate SOlder the same way. But to me, he is mediocre in talent....like most Pats players, the system and coaching makes them appear much better...especially along the O line. B) 16 million will sign all of those players....Joyner at $8-10 million of that.... C) We need a good, dependable vet NT. IF we sign Ol nate solder, theby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I edited some of rockram's to make it shorter... 1) A dynamic change of pace RB behind Gurley Yes, on the cheap, of course. 2) Depth on the Oline. This is the offseason to acquire our future LT and let him learn the ropes from Whitworth. Get the guy to replace Whit this year with our #1--if he is there. Sign a center who can run block and make calls. Trade up in the 4th to Draft a gby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Will all of our 'upgrades' needed, I think Hav stays at RT for 2018....but, happy to be wrong and have J Brown as "depth".by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I am more than aware of those 'other' guys stats...and historically, Goff at 115 rating would be #2 all time or so... But, with McVay, the increasing Everett, and Kupp getting a little better, I think it can happen. I see no reason why he can't be as good as Montanta in 1988-1989.....remember, who say 11-4? (12-4 if we wanted it). McVay is just getting started, JUST. With the O line in placby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree on Watkins too....39 catches becomes 50 next year....that is worth #12 million+? No way. However, Snead didn't intend to rent him....but, maybe he didn't see McVays system and how Sammy fit.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Martz didn't make Isaac better; Isaac made Martz better. Isaac was already world class. Though I agree, in priciple, with all that you wrote. McVay is wise and smart, while Martz is a lost genius. Look how he handled Turley--by basically calling him a baby (don't remmeber the details, but it was truly stupid by Martz). Ya, that don't be workin'.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Chargers, Chiefs and Packers are huge upgradesby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
A) Oh, I think he can tack on 15 points; 38 TDs 10-12 int, and 9.0 YPA, 66% completion rate B) We will significantly improve on offense even without Sammy as long as we have a healthy LT and Center. There are many one note Johnny WRs like Ted Ginn, Torrey Smith, Mike Wallace, Tony Martin (1998), Kevin Curtis and other WRs who are average overall, but have that 4.4 speed that could fill the Saby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com

Gurley didn't appear to be very focus, being at CATCH at 2 in the morning didn't help I'm sure Who says this??by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
He will become more like Vermeil...and maybe burnout, too. He has to settle or throttle down in his after hours. Knox never really changed, and I think McVay is all about change. Martz and Fisher are jokes in comparison to Sean Mc. He has more going for him at this age than any NFL coach in history had at their respective coordinator jobs. Landry and Belicheck as coordinators were awesome andby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
. It was amazing to see the Falcons pull out the 26-13 win, even as quarterback Matt Ryan threw shorter (3.8 air yards per pass) than in any game of his career. [ ] I had thought the Rams secondary did a great job...this kind of confirmed the rest and pass rush thing for me. I still think we could have won minus the obvious (Brockers injury, cooper's fumbles)by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I sort of get that feeling a bit. But, that does NOT take away from Kupp and Woods winning some great battles....but, ya I have had that fear all year--starting with Redskins (Norman) and then Jags and Seattle games.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
IDK....I don't agree. Pass rush benefitted.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Exactly....Goff was in different circumstances....He is in his 2nd year he has a lot of room for growth....it took Brady 5-6 years....it took Manning 4-5 years.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Atlana is fast.....their MLB is like Barron/D Buchannon....the new mode of the NFL...put a SS in to the WLB or MLB position and watch him flourish.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree...he is not an NFL starter....but a good back up ..... he can't tackle, and he really seems to be lost unless he is in man coverage. Rams have a lot of smart DBs...he ain't one of them.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Atlanta pass defense was giving up 6.7 ypa--which is better than ours. THeir Pass D was good before they met us....and as is normal, in the playoffs the D lines ramp it up a bit. Their defense was top 10 overall...so don't know why people think we were so superior....two even teams. I still think Goff is very good, and he may be better in 5 years than any other QB in the pocket........we canby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
As did the entire STs unit. I had thought before the game that the special teams players might be a little more emotionally/mentally tired because they played all the snaps on defense last game....a stupid thought, but I can only blame Cooper for now./by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
This game, and year, reminded me of the 2003 team in some ways. This Rams team will go to the next step unlike that falling apart 2003 team...Goff for sure will take another big step, and the rest should follow. The 2003 defense was not so solid like Wade's can be. I trust Goff much more than Bulger, though I might like Bulger's tight window throws more. I don't think the 2017 Rams were so batby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Hill is very valuable as a 4th corner...I hope they retain him....and for sure we sign one free agent, and one high draft choice at corner. For not having man to man corners at pro bowl level, like Atlanta, our pass D has been pretty dang good. Replacing Tru jo witha great cover corner will make us better. I love Joyner, however, maybe they move JJ to FS and then sign a vet SS...Strong saby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
With Brockers in there, minus the 2 fumbles....I think we could have won.... We held Atlanta in check...our D did pretty well all thinks considered.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
After the first punt, come on, that kickoff return was not his smartest move--and, in a playoff game. comeonby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't think so....I prefer him over Alec....only coaches know, I guess. Can we have 2 LBers at that price, plus small....? When the rams win the NFCC, I guess I will change my mind.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
