$7 mill a year for 2-3 years....even as I type that I don't like 31 years old and a fast 4.6 (estimation only). Goodbye Tru, dig your physical play So smart, so physical, so-doesn't fit a man scheme for an entire game--unless it is man off. All opinion, as I am usually wrong about the Rams.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteBlue and Gold was a good player. Rams played a soft zone back then, mostly anyway. Did more man later, in 1988-89 but he was a decent, smart player. Highly motivated He was a pro bowler and a lot more than 'decent'. 1985 he was one of the main weapons in that great D that had no speed at the LB level (ya incl Wilcher)by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Green was great, a baller too, and was better than Irvin and Gray....he was the best man on man coverage guy from 1984 til Present that the Rams employed....including ol' Aneas Williams. Bye the way, Marcus Peters still played 15 games last year, plus playoffs--it is not like he played 10 because of his suspensions....low character with a big mouth and too many emotions....yep, describes Michby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Yes and yes and yes! Faulk, Watkins and Peters: all pro bowl level talent, all were healthy, all raise/will raise the level of play at that position. All had or have some problem....and that is the risk. To go from 11-4 (not 11-5) to 13-3 this is the type of trade you need!by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
http://www.kansascity.com/sports/nfl/kansas-city-chiefs/article201780734.html Peters’ anthem protests stopped sometime after team chairman Clark Hunt met with Peters and a handful of other players in October. From November on, Peters waited until the anthem was over before emerging from the locker room. In September, Peters cursed at a fan during a home win over Washington after surrenderinby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Faulk said bad things about the Oline while with the Colts---which no RB should ever do!!!!!!! Many players really didn't like him; and if you read Faulk's own words he discusses this, albeit a bit more veiled than I write here. I have this additional info about Faulk from Jim Irsay via my brother--The Mgmt hated him......(Irsay day to day job was only the COlts his whole life--un likemost billioby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Isaac Bruce taught him a lesson in an exhibition game (2000??) I can't remember the year. Woodson was tough too.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
The consensus timetable for the return of Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz, who suffered a torn ACL in Week 14, has the MVP candidate on track for a potential Week One appearance in 2018, Cody Benjamin of CBS Sports reports. One orthopedic surgeon, however, thinks an Opening Day return is "very, very optimistic" and that Philadelphia has reason to worry about its quarterbby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
He will take a big jump in 2018.....even thoug it may not statistically look like it....it will be like Everett 1987 vs 1988.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
He is including college to exaggerate Jared's mental stress :)by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
The 1992-1995 Dallas Cowboys might have had this statistic, too. And,maybe the 1982-1987 Redskins. It is great....but we weren't 13-3 for a reason---we will get better, even if our record won't. There are very few bad teams in 2018....or so it projects in the NFC for me.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Take away: Goff's victories vs. the Colts, Giants, Texans, and the Niners were just as impressive as GaCRAPolo's other four wins I assume?---and everything looks quite a bit different. Stats and the like. On the other side: Goff controlled those games....for a 2nd year guy, that says a lot. NO, Brees and no, Brady could never do that their first two years. So, people are trepiditious (SP?) toby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
A) I love what Goff did. He had a sterile environment most games---not normal for any QB not named Brady. (except Eagles and Vikings games, and even then it was pretty awesome considering he was going against # 1 and # 4 Ds). B) Garrapo looked great considering the crappy O line and WRs. He will get a lot better as will Goff. Yes, you can project from 5 games---just like we projected Whit afteby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Yes, "13" wins was a joke..... But 9-10 is very easy to see. Any fool can see that the last 10 years teams go from 4-12 and 5-11 to 10-6 with 3-4 additions---this is a constant every single year in the NFL....Ahem, yep the Rams went from 4-12 to 11-4, and Garraps looks better than Goff considering Garaps crappy WRs, Crappy O line etc and he joined the team mid season....so ya, if somby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I hope you are joking!by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
We all knew Garrapo would get paid.....No surprise. He will be great and has been great. SF will be at 10-13 wins if he escalates his game--new WRs and a few upgrades. BUT, we have 10-13 win capability too, and our team has more developed talent.... Wil be a great next 5 years.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
J Brown was "42.9" (from memory, kids) in PFF stats, but the pressure and the run game belies that. "42" is a rating for a rookie, free agent, just signed off streets, stat for a guard. J Brown was 70+ in my eyesby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
A first round pick.....I know that costs us a corner, but I am more confident that it is very, very, very hard to find a very good left tackle....we covered for poor corner play many times with a pass rush. You can't have all things at once, I know....and your plan somewhere between A to A+by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I didn't analyze it much, but 'feel's pretty good. Ya, Quinn and Barron will make all the the dominoes fall. So, we trade down and get an extra third....seems good, if we have the right press corner talent there. Also, i still say we need LT insurance for Whit in 2018 if we want to ensure a 2018 Super bowl. Watkins....hmm,well, if all the math works, why not? I vaccillate there. THANKSby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
WEASEL REPORT: Think of the assistants who were planning to work in Indy, and now have been replaced by their old teams. Don't know details, but this is a pretty big thingby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
90% predicted this....The Colts are not stableby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Exactly. I loved it.....but maye 82% OR A BIT lower is betterby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
He looked good for 4 games or so for the Rams and then the wheels fell off....so ya, he is a great backup. Please AZ Cardinals sign him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Kupp= Brian Brennan from BC playing for the Browns, or a shorter Dwight Clarkby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I liked Joyner coming out, except for his 4.6 speed....I thought hte was a great 4th rounder...I was right, but 2nd round was righter, LOLby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
He isn't like Dennis JOhnson or someone like that coming in to the Celtics organization (a leader who was lazy a bit).... Talib is a head case....the team is so secure that maybe it could work...but I don't see the need....but ya, it would save us HAVING to choose a CB #1 (right before we decide to not sign Tru J)by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I was there: I was scared by the end of the game that the Titans had alll the momentum and I yelled in my brothers ear: "they have to go long, they have no other chance".....then Warner to Bruce..... The crowd was 100% for the TItans in the 4th...it was loud!by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
We would have had: a) the fish beauty stay b) no playoffs c) beat up QB d) damaged Psych and ACLby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
