9) You have to scout tight window throwing. You can do it against most teams, but some teams? You better not. They're taught more violence at the point of attack and the Hawks are one of those teams. Those picks should not have been thrown. Perfectly describes it---thanks. 100% Goff will not make that mistake again. He doesn't repeat errors. Now I have watched almost 5 full Sammy games in 2018, here is my final conclusion: Whenever he catches it, no one is near him in coverage....it is almost always a zone coverage situation, or a screen, or 1 yard pitch or whatever. He is not running patterns and beating a corner. Ok, so that is it for the year. No more Sammy talk from me until Chiefs week!by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I understand that---that says a lot. And, to me, that is like saying Dickerson was the greatest RB ever....because he carried the Rams. But, there are other RBs out there who might have had more all around skills. The fact is ED was the greatest runner ever---not greatest RB ever . Marino one of the great throwers ever---not QBs all opinion, and for fun, right?by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Goff analysis (please add or subtract as you deem) Where he is better Goff: 2017 vs 2018 (small changes lead to big results) Goff last year wasn’t throwing into tight windows I think because he was on a short leash because he didn’t know the system. Compared to Warner who was ripping it, and Martz didn’t care, because he knew the yards and TDs would also come because of this mentality. In mby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Wentz has been surpassed by Goff. For the timing being. Wentz still looks discombobulated, as does the Eagles offense---kind of like Goff in the first half or week 1. However, Wentz is young, has good legs, and he himself is a good system QB who can also improvise. There was a reason he was the MVP through 14 games....and a torn ACL is a temporary bump. Maybe Wentz will never surpass GOff, bby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I have watched about 35+ Marino full games from 1983 to 1988 (in the last 3 years). Not impressed with his 'thinking'---as compared to other HOFer greats. He is a very good thrower, and tough, and competitive--incredible release that kept him from getting sacked. Favre, too exhibited many great HOFer qualities. After 1984, What did Marino win? However, After 1997, what did Favre win? Maby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Thanks... Saw most of the game...Sammy still ain't a WR; he is a great run after the catch man.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com

Rams D looks in disarray. *Peters 2 long pass TDs, plus the holding is what a mediocre at best corner does in 6-8 games. We didn't lose the game, so I hope that he grows up. If the Rams coaches can't "talk" to him about this, then he isn't a player the Rams want. I am sure he is making no excuses, he is stand up, I think....however, that was some immature arrogance on his part----asby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com

Time to get that to 8-8.5 today! Seattle still has a top 5-6 pass defense in yard per pass .....of course missing Duke Earl Thomas.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com

Rich Hammond: Mark Barron took the initial first-team reps during warmups, so it appears he's good to go. Also of note...Troy Hill, not Sam Shields, took reps opposite Marcus Peters at cornerback.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Get Bradford on a 1 year, vet minimum in 2019....let him recover a la Jim Plunkett....Rams O line will make him feel good. He can get his footing again.... or not....by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Very impressive......I wonder what Hakim's grade would have been....he wasn't consisent, and only caught 35-35 balls a year, but his separation was a amazing. We got WR Gold! THanks BIll!by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Oh man,I think that one is my favorite!!!!!!!!!!!!! I spent years trying to get a good copy of that game....finally got it...thanks "LA Rams" :)by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I was thinking about updating mine....you beat me to it....great, I think it is near perfect I think we beat the Chiefs.....but I believe we take the 14-2 record. We won't rest many on Week 17, because then it will be an unnatural 3 week rest. I think everyone plays the first half, full out.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com

Every year is seems like the Chiefs come out tricking everybody....I am interested to see what happens over the next 3-4 games with them. Not fully impressed, Pro bowl-wise, with anyone except: Mahommes, the TE and the RB....Tyreek HIll is great, but is he one dimensional? Can he carry a team for 3-4 games....I don't think so....Favre had his limits, too.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Ya, this is a huge for both Vikings and Eagles.....a tie would be the best thing for us :) I really don't care anymore about the Rams--they are toooo good, like 2001 good....I am waiting for the playoffs...these games are just a primer :) 2001, then 1978: those were the last 2 times I was this confident in the Rams.....still think the 1978 Rams were the best....beat Dallas, Steelers, Oilerby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com

Austin Blythe was measured at the NFL combine at 6'2'', 291 with 30.25'' arms. By conventional standards, Blythe should be too small to handle playing the guard position in the NFL. A typical NFL guard is probably about 6'4'', 310 pounds with 33 to 35 inch arms. Examples from Blythe's draft class include Whitehair (6'4'', 301, 32 3/8'' arms), Garnett (6'4'', 312, 33 7/8'' arms) and Glasgow (6'6''by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
He is still a great athlete, and has a team that WANTS him to succeed--and is paying him 16 million with a big guarentee. They must find out if they should keep him---also there might be a possibility where the Chiefs will have to experiment with how to use him if they deem that they will keep him in productive use for 2019-2020.....because how they are using him doesn't work very well. 37-23 Wilson is relentless, even when down 34-6....so the scores looks ok. Seattle's O line remembers that they are really, really bad---again. Another Ram goes down.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Thanks for you competition thoughts.....I always like them. On an 'off' day, the 2003 Rams would have a hard time with Seattle----but not these 2018 Rams. Like the 2001 Rams, the 2018 have so many ways to win matchups. And, everything is based on timing, not just skill....the O line is controlling oppenents, and Goff is always 'on' with his accuracy (unlike J Everett, e.g.) This is why itby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
In my opinion, Watkins is not integrated into the KC Chiefs at all. His patterns looks like: he runs out there, and makes one cut, or turns around and looks for the ball---he just looks like a rookie. Most of his patterns seem like 6-12 yards max.....maybe I am wrong, but I have seen all 4 games every snap. I would say he is not really running timing patterns at all, and is not synced up with Mahby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I love 1980s NFC East Blacker and bluer than the any teams back then....other than the Bears. eagles, redkins and giants from 1981 to 1992-ish, and then more. Ya, I was thinking 9-7 for Bears...but maybe a bit better now.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
