Thanks for you competition thoughts.....I always like them.
On an 'off' day, the 2003 Rams would have a hard time with Seattle----but not these 2018 Rams.
Like the 2001 Rams, the 2018 have so many ways to win matchups. And, everything is based on timing, not
just skill....the O line is controlling oppenents, and Goff is always 'on' with his accuracy (unlike J Everett, e.g.)
This is why it won't be a 'let down' game--it might be close, but 100% we win:*Seattle's O line still is work in progress.
*Their D hits hard and hustles, and they are young, so like you said, they will have lapses.
*However, I do have to say Pete's boys really handed Goff 2 of his lowest YPA last year---Goff didn't look good to me....so, I still expect they can keep us to 27-30 points.....
*But, because their
predictable offense is 1975 era, they are easy to contain. Wilson is still great, but stop DOug Baldwin, contain Wilson enough (like we have since 2012) and clog the running lanes (which we have done well 80% of the time sice 2012), and Seattle is soooo one dimensional that a team like the Rams will be laughing in the 4th quarter.
HONESTLY: I want a tough, very close game (w/ no injuries). I can't stand watching
boring blowouts (like the Cards game). I just don't think we will get a close game; but, even if we do, we will win no doubt. The Rams are great at controlling the game, now.
