The play where Collinsworth said Dejaean dominated Kupp was coaching. Dejean lined up w strong outside leverage, he was coached to not allow Kupp to get outside of him. Kupp working at a strong disadvantage in positioning still tried and failed. Fwiw.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com

For me, then key factor to enable successful defensive aggression is success on first down and second down. Playing vs an offense that is behind the chains makes aggressive defense much more successful. Passive less so without a good natural pass rush. I like a defense w elements of both. What about just not playing them? Most of them can not get to ball. Put in extra safeties, linemen and call it good until the draft. Ya, the safeties might be too small but at least they are mkre likely to get to the ball and serve as speed bumps.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com

He chin was clearly down and in to me. The rule hasn't changed. People focus on feet probably because that is the main body part that determines a catch. But any body part works for establishing possession. Feet require both otherwise one chin, one knee, etc establishes possession.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com

I've watched most of the Seahawks games and from what I've seen: Hankins is big but has no lateral movement ability. Reed lacks an anchor but has some quicks. Rusn hot and mostly.cold. Williams, 99, is good. Makes plays. Floor is average on most plays. Won't take over games but you might know his name at the end. Murphy. Watched him alot yesterday. Very average. The replay officials are trying to balance speedy resolution with improving the accuracy of calls. They didn't have the tv footage. Live i couldn't tell that ball hit anything.
