They are who we wish they weren't...by BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
But neither am I thinking they are a play-off team. We were that bad.by BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
By Fisher and Snead based on his play in his 5 games last year. How could I forget I could see all the tangibles. sheeezby BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com

for Jeff it is impossibly complexed.by BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
I am first to say JL had lost a step and was not playing elite. Not a Probowl LB etc but he lead the defense along with Chris Long and the Rams got nothing for either and did nothing to upgrade. They have been undermining the LB position since Jeff came on board and what we get is what we are getting. So no solace to take in a headless Defense that has no clear leader, just because you are glad tby BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
6 picks sacrificed and Jared Geoff on the sidelines Case Keenum as been talked up like he was KW and we get shutout game 1 oh Jeff is probably already nudging him off the curb. By the way this offense would bore a slug.by BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
as currently configured and coached. I could see this turn bad quickly. Gurley is not going to continue to be a darling with the numbers he is putting up against 9 man fronts. He will start to implode or get injured. Tell me what about this offense is better?by BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
Ogletree is not leading the Defense. I just do not see any real control or much instinct with him playing inside. He was just doing what he could do and the rest looked to be miss directed. Where were the multiple players on tackles like SF. I am missing Lovie Smith as our DC. Barron and Oggletree are just too small. I am not impressed with the lighter leaner Donald either. Does not seem toby BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
I had to pinch myself to see if I had any feeling in my limbs. This was numbing Case Keenum probably looked almost as clueless in this one as any starter this year. I can't believe he is that average but then I just watched Blaine Freaken Gabbert guide his team to 28 points that is just wrong.by BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
Pat Shurmur, Meltdown is one way to look at it. I seem to remember a lot of those post. It helped get Foles out of town but I know its the coach and the scheme. An Ice Age philosophy. Something better change or else.by BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
Some folks are lining them selves up to be looking for jobs soon if this persist. I may get misty eyed in a good way over that but its too early for me to be so apathetic and that is what perennial losing does for you. We lost to a division rival and that hurts even more. Next week are you kidding me. We need a spar. Start the rookie or start Mannion but dont tell me Keenum is our answer. Don'tby BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
Excellent for national anthem but an embarrassment other than that. Jeff Fisher and a few faithfull probably felt like this would really play out well and Keenum would certainly be a difference maker. He could not put us in a position to win nor lead our undisciplined offense. He was clueless and in some respect looked like he had a dead arm. I have said as have others you cannot put it aby BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
I just cannot bear a loss and yet I don't know that we are able to start on the road laying at a high level. I hope Keenan is ready for the pressure and surprise me. Hoping for a lot of stuff but my mind is plagued with our tortured history under Jeff. Slow starts and poor road play and with all the transition I am not sure our hope is not only hinging on the emergence of players who have proby BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
Well Geoff won't be starting no surprise - Jeff was clear as mud that Keenum was his guy for 2016 despite claiming they were trying to get Geoff ready to start the season after the draft. He continued to be ambiguous about a time table and the only that has to really fret about that and the consequence of that is Jeff at this point. He is saying he knows best and that means he has a plan right?by BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
Some coaches and teams find ways to win and work around challenges of experience and dept and others need everything to fall right as they move undaunted by the past or present obstacles even when chances of success on a given course are also diminished. It's a Stoneage approach that is hard to ignore. It is Fisher's way. I think some how Fisher has to find a way for team to win on his presentby BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
This is a team that appears to have lost some idea of what they are trying to accomplish. If these recent moves reflect some future signing in 2017, then where was the vision and foresight for 2016. This is the current season. Where are the upgrades and FA grabs that address our offense in 2016? No one had a clue Rams could go on to SB the year Green went down and KW emerged but at least is wby BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
This reads insane. There is no magic bullet or special science that equates a rookie QB starting week one with all the stuff you are fretting over. Geoff is fine. Panic is for novice fans if it is over the teams decision to take the QB on slowly because he isnsonimportant and team is trying to win now according to their plan.by BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
I loved the read and echo his conclusionsby BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
I have not settled all my beefs with Jeff but I have enough respect now for him to not demand he be fired but to believe he is committed to winning football and the job is and should be his to lose. I think his handling of Geoff is typical of his OS approach. The key is he must win in the interim and Geoff must continue to be developed deliberately and with the purpose to get him on the fieldby BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree that I also believe 4 year College QBs that make it to the NFL can usually make a career. I believe that Star caliber rookies like Jared would be able to play and start somewhere like TB as able to do and Minnesota was able to do. I do believe with the right caretakers Jared could get thrown in with a few bumps along the way just as was Sam. I agree there is an ideal but I also agreeby BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
Keep Jared protected. Let him start and play and keep Keenum safe on the bench. Let Mannion play in the second half.by BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
There is a way to build around a young QB but Jeff has chosen to slow play this. We will see if his interim plan can work. Jeff is known for transitions in the season and that may be what he is preparing to do. He has done it every year at key positions including assistants. Look at what has happened at RB and QB.by BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
We probably will have to snag someone off another teams roster.by BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
Jeff is not trying to push Geoff out there as a starter. He is not trying to fast track anyone. This offense has had some flux every year New WR New OL New Starting RB New OC New O assistants No continuity and the product shows. Yes we can judge Geoff on his production in PS and say he is not ready for NFL but if a team really wants a talent like his to succeed they accelerby BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
Until we see this offense open up and a prominent effort from a Ram WR we are going nowhere fast in terms of down field explosion.by BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
I think we got a decent deal on him. Now if Rams see him as a #1 and he takes some advances this year I think no one will be able to claim he is being over paid. I have no real problem with it just hope we have a WR not TA that can give us some real productivity and not just underneath. Time for Quick, Britt or someone else to step into that role.by BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
By the offensive approach. I see minor tweaks because it's all new with QB situation and New WR. It's not untypical of Jeff's PS philosophy and I get that. But the way we approach it all its hard to really know what we are going to get. I have concerns wandering if this OC and QB situation can keep defenses at bay. Our corners took a hit in off-season and Quick is not flexing a lot of down fieldby BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
The fan support will help at home but there has been no point that I have watched team and been like wow. Dallas looked great on offense. Cleveland looks great and Tampa and Oakland and other have dominant WR and none can be considered necessarily pass first philosophies. We are a major work in progress.by BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
Not impressed with offense or scheme. I will have to wait for season but past experience says we have issue that will not be fixed with expanded dose of Gurley our defense has not been flashing and until Fisher changes his soggy weather offense we are in for a long season well not longer than 16 games. Too early to judge but for anxious fan its late enough to expect more. I can't evaluate our piby BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
