IMO, he will step right in and make us glad he is in Horns. Pleased that he was available when the Rams came calling and his mother did her research and shared with Jourdan Rodrigue, she felt her son was the perfect fit for the Los Angeles and is the reason why in the video, his mom was donning horns. What a great addition and someone I hope will be around for a long period of time.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
DE hand in the ground DE, IMO, I would be shocked if he does not make the roster.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Being transparent I did not like the pick and one of the reasons I did not like the pick was because of the history of some off the field issues. That being communicated, I wish Bennett nothing but the best and hope he is in a better place and can be an effective member of the Los Angeles Rams.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotemax I knew nothing about any of the Kickers in this draft. I was totally oblivious to who or when, or if at all, the Rams were taking in the draft. As it usually goes for me, the best things happen when I’m not paying attention. So my track record indicates Karty is gonna be a terrific kicker for us. LOL. Sometimes things just fall in place. Seems like this draft really fell to us quby den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Former running back in High School, that runs well and has experience as a KR & PR. IMO, Boston Scott might be handling both, but there will be some pressure on Whittington on special teams.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotemax I love the 43 on Karty. It’s real old school. Agree here Max, old school kicking plus Karty has a great leg with a long of 61 at Stanford.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
The new rules gives Rams a KR plus he has returned punts too.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
He was disappointed. I do not hold it against the kid and he did end up in Miami, so Chop is happy & the Rams are happy.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Last year during training camp RB Zach Evans put the ball on the ground a few times, IMHO, that affected him during preseason & the regular season. Seemed to think about securing the ball first and running second. Seemed slow to the hole plus just tentative overall. Evans does have the extra gear, but we never got to see it because he was thinking ball security first, whereas, it should beby den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
The Rams finally hired a GM in Steve Ortmayer when they moved to St. Louis. Ortmayer hired Rich Brooks and then went with Lawrence Phillips & Eddie Kennison over Eddie George & Marvin Harrison. Just unbelievable.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Run the ball with Corum, who is a red zone wizard.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
The late great Joel Buchsbaum was the true Pioneer, unfortunately for Joel, he had a face for Radio and a Voice for Print. Joel worked for the now defunct pro football weekly and would put out his draft book ever year. Before that, there was nothing. Joel would put out phrases like "Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane." He was not a very healthy person and sadly passed away in 2002 aby den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRockRam Not that I don't like the Karty pick, but NFL PATS are harder than college PATS. Ball in the NFL is set on the 15 yard line, vs. college the 3. I have been wondering why nobody points that out Rock. Watch many podcasts and I always comment about the college PAT stats are not comparable.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
I am still smiling 43.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Quote21Dog How many pressure kicks has he made? Stanford was never in contention for anything. That is not his fault. 91% is very good and he did kick some game winners.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
He is that good IMHO and the Rams drafted the best one.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteferragamo79 actually 2 2nd rounders vs Williams ...... I disagree there was a run on DTby den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
It's a solid program at the FCS level, Coach Greg Gattuso, who I have met several times is an excellent football coach and Verse communicates the differences in college football for players, who play for just the love of the game. I believe he and Byron Young a cut from the same cloth.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
But maybe the Rams do and I do not think you need top 10 for him, but Snead's son is at Texas so there is that too.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteJimYoungblood53 but sometimes you have to do it. I agree with martz and it's not just him, Alt has too many issues --- guys get under him ... but does not mean he can't learn. Looks like Kolton Miller to me How often was Alt beat? Seriously, his worse game was against Louisville and he only gave up one sack. They know Alt because of Tony Pastoors brother so there is that, but mayby den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Alt I believe will be an All Pro LT for the next decade maybe more and Rome Odunze is a game changer with a unique set of skills in the red zone plus the Rams only have two WR's under contract next year.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Quote3030 Early-mid 80's I'd set the VCR in the morning, come home from high school at lunch time, fast forward through the commercials for the offical helmet phone, see the (maybe) 10 picks that were made, reset the VCR, return to school. Too funny remember that too with Paul Zimmerman as one of the guest hosts.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
I will be pissed. I read Daniel Jeremiah's latest mock and the trade with the Commanders would be not smart IMHO. Their 36th & 40th for our 19th & 99th? No thanks Daniel, get some damn sleep please.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
My wife has been instructed as she is a football fan too, but no visitors come Thursday Evening. I am very anxious to see what the Rams do here.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Newton disrupts plays and I like he is a few inches taller than Murphy and more of a complete DT. Trade down, draft Newton and move on to round two.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
They should make him take the same number.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
He kept us out of War. Was his slogan, but eventually he committed.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
