Last year during training camp RB Zach Evans put the ball on the ground a few times, IMHO, that affected him during preseason & the regular season. Seemed to think about securing the ball first and running second. Seemed slow to the hole plus just tentative overall. Evans does have the extra gear, but we never got to see it because he was thinking ball security first, whereas, it should be more natural. Hopefully, Evans can make the adjustment in his second year, but to me, his fear of the fumble was obvious to the naked eye.
