So, at least you didn't burn the house down.. which, technically, would have only made it hotter in the house.. ::o Hopefully you can get that fixed quickly.. Ours used to go out yearly - we finally had enough and replaced the whole system last year... Much more efficient system and has practically paid for itself already... Good luck!by sstrams - Bucky's Pub
of the biggest LP's, at my high school anyway, during my 4 years there.. Others included Kiss Alive and Frampton Comes Alive, but 2112 was definitely extremely popular.. I know I played side one all the time - side 2 only had a couple of tunes on it I liked...by sstrams - Bucky's Pub
..and you're right: the previous owner of the land renewed the leases for decades, then sold the land to Kroenke.. From what I understand, every lake in the area has the same type situation - people only own the structures, not the land, and for the most part lease from the city.. This particular lake, and one other lake, are privately owned - the other lake is also now owned by Kroenke and I'm sby sstrams - Bucky's Pub
I can't stand driving 120 miles to Dallas so we can fly out on a dive trip overseas.. So, I applaud you for your patience behind the wheel and hope you had a great time! :clapby sstrams - Bucky's Pub

Dos XX's cuz that's what was in the fridge... ::o There was a pretty cool expensive IPA (don't know the name - I don't know a lot about the fancy stuff) in the fridge that my wife drinks, but I opted for the cheap stuff, since I was actually TRYING to get a headache.. Thanks - I have two appointments with surgeons on the 25th to see what they suggest.. I'm sure I'll be feeling sorry for mby sstrams - Bucky's Pub
but please get better, soon.. We need all the rockers at full strength around here!by sstrams - RamsFootballFans.com
for ya, Drew! Not a big fan of Corona, myself, but then again, other than before my recent MRI I haven't drank beer in a while.. :)by sstrams - Bucky's Pub
like 2112 and then a few of their other tunes, but overall, not a fan - not a big fan, anyway... I saw them on the Hemispheres tour (late 70's or early 80's - can't remember) and, other than Neil Peart's drum solo, wasn't very entertained.. I know a lot of people are gonna nail me for saying that, but its the honest truth - I went thinking I'd be blown away, but just wasn't every entertained..by sstrams - Bucky's Pub
going WAY back, Ram Rock! Energized was my first Foghat LP and I always dug "Honey Hush" cuz it had that "Train kept a rollin'" riff in it - but, I always liked Honey Hush better.. :sstby sstrams - Bucky's Pub
and what will undoubtedly become the "summer of the wasp and bat attacks" I'm frankly at little worried for the board, at the moment.. :)by sstrams - Bucky's Pub
that several old friends of mine are being forced to move - didn't know they lived out there... breaks my heart to see people's lives upended like that...by sstrams - Bucky's Pub
is a great LP, Ram Rock...! Spun that one until the grooves wore out... Well that one and about 4-5 Foghat studio LPs before it.. :sstby sstrams - Bucky's Pub
Foghat.. I got my first Foghat LP around 3rd grade.. Loved it... Always a fan... I think the original singer passed away years ago, but not sure... To answer your question, I've been EXTREMELY fortunate to never have done a show where people were stone quiet.. and, yes, I absolutely feed off the crowd.. I fI were playing and the crowd were completely dead, I would think it was time to hang itby sstrams - Bucky's Pub
in Mexico was that Americans, or foreigners, couldn't own land there and had to have a trust (I think its called a fideicomisos) set up with a bank or someone who actually owned the property and the foreigner somehow owned through th bank or whoever.. its kind weird.. I have several friends who own condos where we stay in Mexico and they tried to explain it once and I got bore and quit listeningby sstrams - Bucky's Pub
I saw the original story, not knowing it was on Kroenke's new land... when they flashed it was his property, and the Rams logo behind him, it was extremely embarrassing to me that he was doing this... Oh well, he's on a roll this year....by sstrams - Bucky's Pub
What I can't remember if I stated, was that the residents there lease the property of the lake, but own the structures they built.. pretty common for these parts as the other oracle lakes are similar.. They build houses because the landowners are not supposed to yank the leases from under them.. Stan decided to do so,and, as we all know, its not to improve the ecosystem... So, i'm really sad for tby sstrams - Bucky's Pub
Brazil's biggest super model and that was her last walk, or something like that..? If so, I get why they did it, but think they should have had the real Girl from Ipanema instead - even tho she's gotta be pushing 80 by now...by sstrams - Bucky's Pub

If you'll remember, he recently bought the Waggoner Ranch here.. Apparently he just sent out notice that everyone living on Lake Diversion, on his new property, have until January to move.. they either need to move their houses or abandon them... He states its to restore the lake to its natural state, but all of us know its probably to make room for some huge development project... This was on thby sstrams - Bucky's Pub
the "rainforest" interpretation with the strings, and whatever else they used, that was all green and whatnot.. The lightning and choreography was pretty cool, imo.. I thought the way they depicted boats going to the area was pretty cool, with the bows dropping and smoke mimicking waves - pretty cool.... However, in their depictions, once "man" started infiltrating and buby sstrams - Bucky's Pub
I think the first time I saw Heather Locklear was in "Firestarter" - I think that was the name of it.. She was just ridiculously cute.. Anyways, thanks for the Friday pick me up!by sstrams - Bucky's Pub
if your DirecTV wars are over.... we can only hope and pray that DirecTV screws up your cancellation and triple bills you your not only the Sunday Ticket, but for the CEO's 2 week trip to the South Pacific.... :)by sstrams - Bucky's Pub
Somehow I either missed or don't remember it.. and I don't see how I wouldn't remember it, so it must have been while I was on a dive trip, or something... Anyways, I Would have been happy to see the Heather Locklear photo.... (sigh)........by sstrams - Bucky's Pub

Everybody else gets free NFL ticket and DirecTV practically pays their mortgages for them and puts their kids through college, and, for some reason, you always get charged a King's Ransom for the barest of services... Its like you pee'd in DirecTV's Post Toasties, or something... Its like the 8th Wonder of the World.... The question for which there is no answer.. Its definitely one of the mby sstrams - Bucky's Pub

..at least around here, they are.. All I've ever heard is that if you suspect skin cancer, you're on the clock as far as it turning into something super serious, like melanoma, or something.. But, here in Texas you cannot get an appointment with a skin doctor in under 3 months.. So, by then you're probably gonna be in trouble.. at best..by sstrams - Bucky's Pub
"Now you all owe me a bunch of dough." Kidding - actually, good points, waterfield, regarding flash freezing and getting the air out etc.. That's actually kind of disgusting that restaurants are given x amount of days to claim fish is fresh, considering, like you said, that it starts to decompose immediately.. ..and by "fresh" I meant not stinky or fishy smelling or tasby sstrams - Bucky's Pub
