like 2112 and then a few of their other tunes, but overall, not a fan - not a big fan, anyway... I saw them on the Hemispheres tour (late 70's or early 80's - can't remember) and, other than Neil Peart's drum solo, wasn't very entertained.. I know a lot of people are gonna nail me for saying that, but its the honest truth - I went thinking I'd be blown away, but just wasn't every entertained..
That being said, your friend's tribute band appears to be hitting on all cylinders, Rush-related..! I like that they also copy the look of the band during different eras and, of course, your friend must be a pretty good drummer to tangle with Neil Peart drum licks all night..
