in Mexico was that Americans, or foreigners, couldn't own land there and had to have a trust (I think its called a fideicomisos) set up with a bank or someone who actually owned the property and the foreigner somehow owned through th bank or whoever.. its kind weird.. I have several friends who own condos where we stay in Mexico and they tried to explain it once and I got bore and quit listening - probably because eI'll never be able to afford beach front property worth a flip in Mexico.. lol
I had my chance,t ho.. in 1993 I could have bought the condo we currently rent for $55k.. but stupid me didn't do it and now I rent itthe $450K condo for $100 a night - which I now is cheap, but I get a deal because eI know the owner.. lol
Friendship is like peeing your pants.. Everybody can see it, but only you can feel the warmth..
