it was delayed for an hour so it will be dark. Well, unless they delay again or worse scrub the mission. Seen many of these and I never get tired of them. Some are spectacular... depends on many things. So with any luck about 9:30 they should launch... maybe a little earlier. If you're within ohhhhh, a couple hundred miles you might take a look. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I began on Seminary Ridge, at Lee's statue, and walked across it to the angle... finishing at Lew Armistead's monument. Like you said... every step across I was amazed and how in the world those men would even attempt that charge. There is almost no coverage! A few shallow dips that would offer minimal protection at best. Enfilade cannon fire from both left and right as well as straight aheadby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
1950's models... that ran until I retired. Over 50 years! Can't tell you how many miles were on them because the odometers broke long ago. :laughing But no doubt whatsoever they all went over 200,000 miles... WAY over. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
but that's because I'm a Civil War Era nut.... the movie wasn't really made very well. Most of the acting I thought was good.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I still haven't figured out how to pop the hood. Maybe they have a YouTube video for that. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Also... when I get into my wife's car, (also button start), I will ALWAYS hit the position the button is in on my RAM... which is NOT where it is on my wife's car. Once I came very close to having to call my wife because I was putting gas in her car and couldn't figure out how to open the gas cover. That was a lie.... I did that more than once. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Please understand... I only did this once! Uhhhhh, well it doesn't matter.... once was WAY too much. I was coming into my home and I hit the unlock button on my key fob to open my front door. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Only caught the last half of the Boston game. I was impressed. What you said, "small town market".... that's probably the main reason I like Edmonton. Yes, there is the sentimental thing I mentioned above.... my son's favorite team 'back then' but also....like rooting for Canada, hockey's roots, and being a small town guy myself I'm always partial to the smaller cities.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
as I've said many times on this board your location is perfect IMHO. I love watching the plays develop - from pre snap formations to the whistle. No place better to do that than exactly where you are.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
I saw many cases of burn-out. Also parents pushing one sport on their kid when the kid preferred another. Lot of parents use "My kid plays for a travel team" as a status symbol. I wouldn't say attitudes like that are rampant in my area but it's far from rare. Most kids sill play multiple sports and make their decision to one sport when they move on to college. I had Hep C for about 35 years? (caught it in the military) I was cured about 15 years ago but I was still rejected. I was finally able to get life insurance because I combined with a Long Term Care Policy. But I pay thru the nose for it. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I seem to recall you posting about a playoff game some years back? I saw the Kings live....ummm, couple years ago? I've been to many Sharks games live not because I'm a fan of the Sharks but San Jose is much closer than LA. About Edmonton... hehehe, I get you hating them given their history with the Kings. Edmonton is a sentimental choice for me because when my son began playing hockeby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
but I do. They have looked weak... other than their Goalie perhaps. Like baseball there are other teams I root for. The Kings, and Edmonton. Yes, the Gretzky days.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I should go by dependability.... but... I'm stubborn. I go by performance. It's the main reason I bought the Jag about 6 years ago? It's gone now.... it's was in the shop more than my garage. BUT... talk about good handling. It was bliss being behind the wheel of that thing. I currently drive a Ram Truck as my main vehicle. Is it better than a Ford? A Tacoma? A Chevy? I doubt it... myby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I love it. No kidding 30 years??? That's amazing.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Got these today. Ordered them in July of 2023 - I had completely forgotten about them. These are for my new, now 9 months old, pickup. Explanation... I go by "JamesJM" here.... but, nearly everywhere else I go by RAMJJM. Long ago I thought about changing my handle here to RAMJJM but didn't want the hassle of having everyone learn JamesJM=RamJJM. Can't believe I got this and it wasnby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
A Corolla we bought as a 'gas econony' 3rd car. We got over 200,000 miles on it and the only trouble we ever had was replacing the alternator. Trouble free car. Also.. know a LOT of friends who have owned and still own Toyotas and they all report the same except for one model... and I forget which one... maybe the Toyota SUV model? Don't hold me to that, I'm not sure.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Lot of it I agree with but more dependable? I'm sure you can get more mileage out of engines today.... but the enormity of issues with cars these days is astronomical. Of course that could be because there so much more to go wrong now. Also - When I farmed we did all our own maintenance and repairs.... can't do that today. They've made cars nearly impossible to work on without a small forby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
one hell of a game 7 tonight. Ice Hockey at its best. Just outstanding goal-tending by both Boston and Toronto. 0-0 thru 2 periods than Toronto scored.... I thought it was over. No more than a minute later Boston tied it up and it went into overtime. On to Florida. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
who would you say can stretch the D as well at Tutu? I think both Nacua and Kupp (healthy) can.... but that mostly due to great route prowess, not necessarily speed.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Like you I am VERY interested in finding out. I don't know if they really did all that much 'different' with AD. To me it just seemed like no special scheme but rather just allowing him to do his thing - IOW let the O change up and we'll play our game. So I dont' expect (certainly could be wrong) some major change to their strategy without him.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
I do think that as of this moment he's done, mentally. Completely resigned to retirement. BUT.... Things change, for all of us things change. First - you cannot just lose, completely, that competitive drive. From what he's said I believe, I'm sure of it actually, it's the grind that he's ready to put aside. I don't think it will be the Rams prospects of playoffs, (beyond?), that will motby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
No doubt 'tech', (and by Tech I'm not referring ONLY to phones, internet, computers), has changed the world and thus us. I think you're right... they'd have a tough time surviving in the world you and I grew up in. And i'm not sure that's a good thing although it's true they don't need those 'primitive skills' very much in this new world.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Not saying YOU said that, JY, although you may have - but it's definitely been said by MANY. I'm not seeing it..... except.... size for sure. Corum seems far more the type who utilizes lateral movement, footwork, and Kyren far more likely to use his power. Sure, both can execute both, nearly all RB's can.... but I'm referring to their individual running instincts. So I've read, severaby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Nah, not going to bash youth. :laughing Two of my grandson's want to attend the OKC Thunder game in their next series... either Dallas or the Clippers. Clippers would be easy, short drive, BUT... they'd like to see the game in OKC... you know - - - experience a 'home' crowd. I don't blame them. So we've been talking about possible ways to get there. I suggested a 'road trip'. To be 2by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

But I think 'oil change' recommended mileage is mostly to sell oil.. .NOT because it's that harmful to your auto. That said... going WAY over would certainly not be good. Amazing how far newer cars can go these days before an oil change. My new RAM pickup goes 10,000 between changes. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
