T.Y Hilton is interesting ... He can stretch the field and catch the football. Has some injury history as do a lot on the listby Headslap75 - RamsFootballFans.com
I know what you're saying But I'd argue He has the best receiver in football (arguably) and Aaron Jones is a top 5 back Line looked solid ...though I didn't pay much attention as to their level all seasonby Headslap75 - RamsFootballFans.com
Moklerman I know how you feel about Goff and I take no exception to that I don't think he's elite or great I do think he's very unfairly disrespected So statements like 41 games of ineptitude are just false your fantasy or whatever. If you can breakdown point to 41 games that Goff has been inept I'd love to sit back and read that with the analysis and I'll spot ya the 7 with Fisherby Headslap75 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotedzrams QuoteLMU93 I think it's OK to say both- that Goff was below average overall when it comes to the entire 2020 season (23rd in passer rating and ESPN's QBR rating, rated 20th by Football Outsiders and 22nd by PFF) AND that he was pretty good in the postseason- especially considering the thumb issue and limited practice pre-SEA. 100.7 QB rating in the two games. The QB rating calculaby Headslap75 - RamsFootballFans.com
The wild thing is the very posters everybody knows who they are That have taken the time to post over and over and over. That all we need from Goff is to be efficient protect the ball don't collapse make a couple of plays and everything will be great. He does exactly that like to a T and now the narrative is changed by those very posters. It's just amazing to me. I'm not here to say Jarby Headslap75 - RamsFootballFans.com
Makes a lot of sense. You can also easily see in not just a McVay/Goff scenario How this could have Coach/QB's butting heads on the way to attack things. Hypothetically seems like Goff might just want to "play" and Mcvay wants to micro manage the play. Not saying what's right or wrong but could easily see each guy getting frustrated with the other if stuff isnt workingby Headslap75 - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm not sure about running Cal offense.....but couldn't agree more on snail pace of offense. The running play clock to 0 is disaster Especially in obvious passing situations the front and if blitzing gives defense advantage to time it and get to QB a tick faster And it also leads to all of our frustration in burning time outs Goff takes most of the heat on that and maybe rightfully sby Headslap75 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteJamesJM Until the injury he was all world, according to all of us. Because he got hurt proves he's now too old? Am I reading this right? He went from all world and in ONE WEEK became 'sure sign of over the hill"? Exactly James just another post game over reaction See Seahawks fans posts from last week We all hurt after playoff losses Rams for life!! We will all be back talking saby Headslap75 - RamsFootballFans.com
Agree on Hill....he played poorly today but if he isn't looking to break bank he's valuable. Fuller had a stinker back there today as well ....agreeing with 21by Headslap75 - RamsFootballFans.com
Geez was going to post the same... Lucky break that thing kicking directly back to Rodgers That short field at that stage would have made things very interestingby Headslap75 - RamsFootballFans.com
James totally respect your opinion but what do you see that has convinced you he has peaked at such a young age ? I get he's got 5 yrs in .. but what is he 25? Just saying if we can get him fixed is it not worth the effort ? For the guys worried about his money..., the contracts are only getting richer... by the tail end of this contract he might be a bargain who knows?by Headslap75 - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm a big fan of Goff think we can win with him... thought he was fine today. Not sure if the tone of your post is helpful. I hate when he has off game and guys rush to poke the bear...so I won't do that in return. I do agree with poster that says Fix interior line and get deep threat Or go to the Mobil style QB and I'm not talking Wolford I'd be talking Watsonby Headslap75 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamgator He KILLS me when the O line is struggling and he puts the O in SNAIL mode and the play cock ticking down to under 2 seconds. We KILLED them in hurry up. When you let that clock go to zero everytime gives the d front a head startby Headslap75 - RamsFootballFans.com
At the end of the day We played the #1 seed on their home field ...against a QB having a historical year. We were - Donald who obviously was injured and our arguable #1 seed... Don't need to mention our QB with pins in thumb ...he played fine not great but did what most say he needs to protect ball etc.... The better team won just not our favorite teamby Headslap75 - RamsFootballFans.com
Things looking bleak but long TD drive puts us within one scoreby Headslap75 - Game Time Forum
Yep if no heat in the kitchen we are cookedby Headslap75 - Game Time Forum
Yeah can't see anything about coaching Got to tackle and block GB is good make no mistakeby Headslap75 - Game Time Forum
Yep can't have it Almost call it a 7pt penaltyby Headslap75 - Game Time Forum
One thing lost in the commentary of the great Defensive play...and it was great and boy did we need it. But we enjoyed that 10pt cushion For about 5 plays and 2mins Then we had the Metcalf coverage breakdown I look at it like those two plays Cross canceled one anotherby Headslap75 - RamsFootballFans.com
I won't argue with that Gator But if the Ram O puts up 23pts as it did last Saturday it's not out of the question that we will be advancingby Headslap75 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRampage2K- Quotestlramz Same was said about Cooks by some. A QB especially as young and talented as Goff would draw interest. Question is what is the ultimate price. Wentz's best games this year looked like Goff's worst games and there are rumors teams might be interested in trading for him and his huge contract.....there is always a market for young QB's who were once consideredby Headslap75 - RamsFootballFans.com
But I did notice the Packers worst performance of season and by a lot Was to TB 38-10 I believe. That beating followed their Bye Weekby Headslap75 - RamsFootballFans.com
81 I'm glad you see it that way...and I'm in agreement. Was stuff of legend and really not a whole lot of it is being said nationally. You are right it wasn't dazzling performance ....but it was extraordinary Only Ram fans man we are a puzzling bunch QB comes in 10 days after having pins put in his thumb Comes away with a W as an underdog team on the road against hated rival....and the majoby Headslap75 - RamsFootballFans.com
Thread winner buddy The only way you can justify Wolford over Goff if you are taking injury out of the equation Is just disdain for Goff I like the kid just fine but seriously has done nothing I mean really absolutely nothing. He hasn't led one TD drive Like someone said in another post Goff missed one gm in 5 yrs...this guy didn't get through 5 quarters but most prefer him. Again Iby Headslap75 - RamsFootballFans.com
You and me both I don't mind endzone celebrations But the group running length of field Is ridiculousby Headslap75 - RamsFootballFans.com
They just look ripe for the picking for our Rams The Packers are the elephant in the roomby Headslap75 - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah exactly was my point of initial post .... it's a human fan universal overreacting vent modeby Headslap75 - RamsFootballFans.com
