Same was said about Cooks by some.
A QB especially as young and talented as Goff would draw interest.
Question is what is the ultimate price.
Wentz's best games this year looked like Goff's worst games and there are rumors teams might be interested in trading for him and his huge contract.....there is always a market for young QB's who were once considered some of the best young QB's in the NFL not too long ago.....People don't seem to remember how long it took us to find one, now they want to toss him after a couple bad games
like we can just grab one at the end of the second round.....and keep going to the playoffs and winning like we have with Goff
2K as I've said in a couple other posts it's the most fascinating bordering on bizarre fan base reaction to one of there own players.
This from fans of a team that we're just god awful for a decade before Goffs arrival. I would understand if we were going 5-11 every year with Goff....or maybe if Goff was some demonstrative me first off field trouble kinda guy.
But that's not Jared he goes to work
has had a tremendous winning%
for our team...btw missed one game in 5 yrs durable you can count on him to be in the lineup.
11-5,13-3,9-7,10-6....ain't good enough. Certainly the next guy we draft or bring in and will be can't miss 14-2 15-1 every year.
Just a head scratcher for me.
If the poor @#$%& starts with pins in his thumb and the Rams lose against the number #1 seed on their home field ....The narrative for most will be Goffs gotta go.
Heck if we win a 17-14 game it will be Goff did nothing this was the defense.
Only way the dude gets a pass is if he wins a 38-35 gm 4 TDs no Ints
and I'd still read posts that say
"Yeah but that pass in the 2nd quarter that Kupp had to bail him out on that was awful"
I mean god forbid a receiver for the Rams win a 50/50 ball .....pretty much happens every week in every game never seen another QB get ripped because his receiver made a play on ball.
