ED is hammering his team consistently for pretty much the whole year (Which he has a right to do AND alot of what he says echo how the fans feel) AND then he asks the Rams for extra field passes for some buddies. And according to JF he hasn't even seen him since the Cowboy pre season game....probably would've been better to bite his lip, but losing raises everyone's level of frustration....by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
What a friggin joke!! Brittney Spears....if true, that is awful!!by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
the Whiners could end up 1-15 or 2-14 with their only wins coming against the Rams. Pretty embarrassing....by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
would he leave his alma mater after only 2 years? He has a top 5 program and will likely be in the hunt for national championships for years to come. I just don't see it....maybe in another 3-5 years.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotezn QuoteSunTzu_vs_Camus He just guest-coached some college/talent bowl game or somethin last year. iirc I don't share your interest in Martz as a head coach. He took a great team he inherited and slowly eroded it. Was that from his coaching or from his front office role?by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
I'd go for it every time, and many coaches would, but for JF, who would rather have his defense or special teams on the field than the high powered offense he has built, it is absolutely the right call. Look at the end of the first half. He could've gotten his offense on the field with 50ish seconds left probably around their own 30-40 yard line, but instead starting calling time outs after aby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
if it could get much lower than your HC having more confidence in your punt blocking/return game than your offense. I'm thinking that 99% of coaches would rather have their actual NFL offense with the ball somewhere around their own 30-40 yard line with around 50 seconds left in a half than running the clock down for a last second punt block or return after a defensive stop. Very pathetic.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Obviously JF didn't want his offense on the field....In hindsight he probably has more confidence in his punt team scoring than his offense. I think that this is an all time low for a Ram offense over a season, and that is saying something. Just so embarrassing....by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
We get a sack with around a minute left to make it second and 20 for the Dolphins on their own 24 and we let the clock run down another 40 plus seconds and then after a 8 yard run, we quickly call a timeout with 17 seconds left. Just mind numbing stuff....by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
that JF has something to do with that.....by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
didn't get my first computer until 97, and got on the PD Board during the offseason between 98 and 99. I went by Nocalramfan (not to be confused with Norcalramfan). I remember a flamer, I believe on the PD board or could've been here, SFJohn. He was a kick...talked alot of smack early in the 99 season and then seemed to fade away. I distinctly remember FastEddie's, among others, camp reportby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
That completely makes sense....BUT regardless of the reasons, the Rams running game, which many of us had high hopes for with TG and an intact, returning Oline, is one of the worst in all of the NFL. Poor Oline play, poor coaching, poor running back play...maybe a combination of all of the above, but there is no doubting that this HAS to be the biggest disappointment from this team. Crossing myby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
WIth the overall rush offense on the season (Yeah I know Gurley rushed for some positive yardage in the second half), you don't have to do much cherry picking. The running game is and has been broke for the whole season. Maybe Goff will make a difference, but I'm certainly not holding my breath.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Obviously the run game (That JF attempted to rebuild), has failed miserably and that obviously has affected the overall QB play, BUT Case is dead last in the NFL in QBR and 28th in passer rating. He has thrown 8 TDs to 10 INTs, with 3 of those being pick 6s, and he is supposedly in there because he won't lose games. I'd be interested to see what has you so impressed about this pass offense.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
and not a bad passing game, in most games anyway (though it was stalled for 3 quarters today). Put very simply, we disagree.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com

Yeah hindsight is always 20/20....BUT at some point some of these moves and picks are going to have to come through whether looked at in hindsight or not aren't they? Speaking of looking ahead, what are your current thoughts on the way things have shaked out so far? What would you have predicted? Were you thinking it was going to be worse than this?by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
I was out driving around listening to the game, so I didn't watch it live. On the final drive I remember the Rams play by play guys wondering why Marquez didn't turn around for a 1st down pass that went into the end zone with around a minute left I believe. I just watched the play off of my dvr, and it is pretty obvious that Marquez didn't turn around for the ball because #25 shoved him hardby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
now that makes more sense. Thanks for the laugh... needed that about now.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Of course, hes probably not going along for this ride for very long. Lets hope the parachute functions properly....by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
I appreciate your optimism. I see a team that just lost 3 in a row during one of the softest stretches of their schedule. 3-4. Hmmmmm...I wonder how many times the Rams have been 3-4 the last 5 years? Seems like awful familiar territory.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
But i also think he was being way to black and white about things. 3-4 is NOT the same as 7-9. There is still time to make it to 4-4, and then 5-4. And then they are right back in the wildcard hunt. Man, we can just cut and paste these sentences in posts in pretty much every one of JF's years as head coach at about this time of year. Maybe your right and they turn it around this year, but I'by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
We've seen this scenario before...actually the last 4 consecutive years to be exact. Very sad...by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
the offense scores 28 and loses, which is also unacceptable. The ONE week where our offense was good, our D layed an egg. And now this week everything is back to normal. We've seen this before...its a broken record.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
an all to familiar ending. Another disappointing Kershaw post season outing....of course it wouldn't of mattered who pitched with another listless, lifeless offensive performance. The offense was the biggest problem all year.... It was a fun year though. One of my favorite all time Dodger teams. absolutely terrified to throw a fast ball. I'd assume it is because he is tired, but he's also lost a lot of confidence. Maybe it would be a good move for him to go to the pen right now. Of course for us to worry about that, there is that little thing of winning the next 2 games.by sacram - Bucky's Pub
he hit one off the short wall down the right field line off of Niedenfuer in another game in that series. He hadn't hit a HR in years, and ALMOST hit 2 off of Niedenfuer in a 2 or 3 game stretch. Uggghhhhh...O the memories.by sacram - Bucky's Pub
they are going to spend money on big FA pitchers. Friedman has failed miserably at most of the starting pitchers hes signed to date (Maeda being the exception)...we're going to owe Kazmir/McCarthy in the neighborhood of 28-30 million next season if you can believe that. Luckily for Friedman he inherited Urias, DeLeon, and Brock Stewart. I think there is a good chance that 2 of the rookies areby sacram - Bucky's Pub
