I was out driving around listening to the game, so I didn't watch it live. On the final drive I remember the Rams play by play guys wondering why Marquez didn't turn around for a 1st down pass that went into the end zone with around a minute left I believe.
I just watched the play off of my dvr, and it is pretty obvious that Marquez didn't turn around for the ball because #25 shoved him hard right between the numbers in the back at around the 7 yard line. He shoved him so hard, that he almost fell to the ground. How on earth does that call not get made? It wasn't just illegal contact, but nearly a flat out tackle...
And don't get me wrong, I'm not blaming the refs for the Rams loss, they have plenty of their own problems, but that call just HAS to be made. Brutal!!
