Quinn and Quick are my choices.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
I have been watching the Pac12 network this morning and they were showing Cal.vs.Arizona highlights. Something caught my eye. Who is that QB just throwing lazers on a dime to his WR's? #16 was throwing BB's all over the field and the throws were on target and beautiful to watch. Goff just needs time my fellow Ram Fans.........The guy is going to be a VERY, VERY good QB!by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Quinn......He needs to show up this year and play EVERY game. No back issues and no reasons to sit. Basically, don't be damaged goods like C.Long was in his final years. If Quinn comes back in to his pro bowl form, this DL will be SICK !!!!!! Top tier defense in the NFL. QUINN is a HUGE part to our defense, and has been a forgotten piece IMHO. Quick.....Time to show up and become a legit NFby oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Just goes to show us that SNISHER is not satisfied and getting in to the playoffs is where they want to be this year.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
We will agree to disagree on this........by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
That is a good idea.......Maybe they are getting ready to bring a Vet in as well. Bummed about Reynolds....He looked like a solid leader at practices and was always there to fill in at a OL spot when needed. I bet his knee is pretty bad and for a player with years under his belt he may be retiring. I really liked what Reynolds brought to this team.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
The guy is a very, very good football player. He loves the game and plays it with a passion that I wish all players would. So what, he has a bad day at practice and gets upset when they pull him from the defense. Big deal. The reason why he was upset is because he always goes 100% and does his best. You would be upset as well. Sure, he spoke some words before thinking. But haven't we all dby oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Unfortunately, Football is a victim of itself. The collisions in the sport are directly correlated to the advancement of technology of the gear. Take away the facemask and players will feel less invincible. A few broken teeth, smashed noses and broken jaws, no more leading with your face to make a tackle. Now, there go the collisions. No more ESPN Highlights........Football enforcing rules isby oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Keenum will be better than most people think this season. I really think this team is ready to win......and WIN BIG. This offense will be much improved simply because the OL is going to "Know" what to do each play. Thus, Gurley will have holes to run through and Keenum will have time to throw the ball.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
But, on the other hand......... Offensive players can't duck their heads and lead with em' either. Now, when a QB leaves the pocket, IMHO he becomes a RB, and C.Newton is one big dude. He's physical and will lower his shoulder on you. If you don't take him on, he will flat out run you over. I agree, helmet to helmet hits have taken on a whole new meaning from years past......Safety shoulby oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
So, Siemian sits the entire first year behind Manning and learns the offense inside and out. Knows the protections, adjustments and audibles. Then, he comes out and performs like this in his first NFL start. Here's my point......Fisher says Goff will start when he is ready. Well, Goff had "flashes" of solid QB play in the pre-season. In fact, he looked pretty darn good at times.....by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
10-6.......That is fair........That will show everyone that over the last 4 years we have gone from a nobody to a somebody in the NFL.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Let's see what happens when he plays in a REAL NFL GAME. Hey, fair is fair......I like the guy, but dress rehersal is not opening night.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
The Rams are ready to win.........Of course, we are tired of the losing, but each year will be a new challenge and we all know that. Fisher and Snead have done a great job so far, and this year, to me, is the year we can start their evaluation. This is their team. This is the team they have built the last 4 years. Now, let's enjoy the fruits of their labors and get to the playoffs. Then, anythby oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Agree 100 % GRITS............ Let it all play out .........And let's go beat the whiners!!!by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
We are light years ahead of that team..........Beat the Whiners!!!by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Has me the most concerned. New place, no familiarity, unpacking more boxes and suitcases. Then, up the road flight to SF. Only 2 things can happen, and only one is good.........Come together as a team, overcome some adversity and beat the Whiners on Monday Night to go 1-0 in the new season.....Then, open up the Coliseum vs, Seattle with another win and go 2-0 out of the gates. GO RAMS!!!!by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
This was our biggest signing this off season for our offense IMHO. We have not even seen the tip of the iceberg with our changes on offensive schemes. I have noticed that Fisher has allowed about a 50/50 ratio to plays under center and QB in shot gun formation. That is Groh's influence to the offense. We need our QB's to see the field in certain situations and Boras and Groh have been ableby oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
By far my favorite Football Coach........This guy always has his team ready to play.....If we ever have a HC vacancy on the Rams, Coach Kelly would be getting the job if he wanted it.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
That's what i was thinking going over roster cuts.......No new faces,by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
QB Position..... Goff should just sit down and go to QB school. Like Bobcarl pointed out, you need to know the offense forward, backword and sideways. It's not just calling the plays. It's understanding where everyone is at on the field, all 22 players, not just your 11. One thing you can't coach is leadership and instincts. How to be a leader of a team and, when the play is happening, havby oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Vikings were desperate and thought they had to make a move.......Go see if you can get a veteran QB so you don't lose the vets and the locker room. Players need to see the organization do what it takes to win.....not sit on their hands and do nothing. The best they could do is get Bradford. For a very pricey cost. SB has yet to play like a #1 pick, fool's gold comes to mind. You think he isby oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Yip......He got rolled up on from the side and injured his leg.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Let's just beat the WHINERS and all of us Ram Fans will be happy!!!!!by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Exactly GRITS..... I also spoke to him during Camp.......He said "Coach told me not to rush it". That tells me, he is on the roster. He has made some very good catches early, along with Cooper.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Rookie QB's never played in the 70's and 80's.........They put on a baseball cap and learned from the vets.....Never were expected to start from day 1. Today, everyone wants to rush things and throw the QB out there before he is ready.... We have a vet in Keenum... He will give it to Gurley 20+ times a game....We can use the entire playbook and not think twice about it....We can win earlyby oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
A few back in the day :):):). Let's go beat the WHINERS this week !!!!!!!!by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
IMHO....This is where we see SNISHER make a difference. We need an impact WR on the outside and there has to be a better one than Quick out there somewhere. I'd hate to see Thomas or McRoberts be roster casualties in order to keep Quick. To me, I see to much upside in those 2 WR's.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
I was just saying what went through my mind at that time. Being a HS Math Teacher.......I have 185 students walk through my door every day.....Back in 1987, I never had to tell students to put cell phones away. Now, these kids have to be taught "Cell Phone Etiquette". Some kids are addicted to those things. So, when I see that on HardKnocks, I notice it right away......We have no idby oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
