Rookie QB's never played in the 70's and 80's.........They put on a baseball cap and learned from the vets.....Never were expected to start from day 1.
Today, everyone wants to rush things and throw the QB out there before he is ready....
We have a vet in Keenum... He will give it to Gurley 20+ times a game....We can use the entire playbook and not think twice about it....We can win early and not lose games because the Rookie QB made "Rookie Mistakes".
I have ZERO problem with that logic as a coach........We beat the Niners and Seahawks.....Start off 2-0....I'm sure you will not have an issue with that as well.
