Maybe even a new team for Kapernick. I bet there is a rule that you HAVE to stand for the Anthem!! I would like to see a league a bit more like the old days when football was a tougher game. Have them sign disclaimers saying they will not sue if injured or concussed and agreed to play knowing the consequences. Basically "play at your risk". Not sure if that's even possible in today's PCby Ramsdude - RamsFootballFans.com
I hear it is set for 2020 and might be called UFL (United Football League). Should be interesting to say the least. Hoping they can capitalize on the mistakes the NFL is making. I used to like the no kick offs in the XFL, just a scrimmage for the ball. His slogan could be: "Let's make Football Great Again" lol. Less penalties, harder hitting, fewer replays, etc. Thoughts? QuoteOld Goat And that's the flip of your argument. Guy gets beat deep and he'll take a 15 yard yank to not be beat for 65 yards or a TD, no problem. I don't see the solution as so simple. The real fix is to make these guys full-time and let them hone their craft. I don't want a contractor who's experience is through part time labor. Same applies here. Quotewaterfield My last response to this is that people in business destroy documents, photos, tapes, etc. all the time for several reasons. Mostly its simply often a good business practice. QuoteXXXIVwin Nice post, Ramdude. I certainly know the Patriots cheat, a lot, over decades, in many ways, and it has helped them a ton. Personally, I am less convinced that refs have been “instructed” to favor the Pats. I think this would be much much harder to coverup and would be too risky to attempt.
