And that's the flip of your argument. Guy gets beat deep and he'll take a 15 yard yank to not be beat for 65 yards or a TD, no problem.
I don't see the solution as so simple.
The real fix is to make these guys full-time and let them hone their craft. I don't want a contractor who's experience is through part time labor. Same applies here.
The league can more than afford to make it a full time position with Ref-U all offseason long.
Good point OG. But...IMO, we need more replays. We should hire a second group of Officials whose job is to only review the instant replay decision of the officials who initially reviewed the replay just to make sure it is correct. Lastly, hire a single person to review the review of the instant replayer's review. If after all that replaying\reviewing they still cannot decide, we just move on and act like the play never happened by implementing a "denial system" and destroy any evidence of the original replay and replay the down. It just might work. lol
BTW, this thread is now under review...
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
