I think you're right and I think McVay's lack of patience with young quarterbacks may have been a factor in McVay's getting rid of Goff when he did. I looked back at all the quarterbacks McVay has worked with during his coaching career and from what I can see, he's never worked directly with a rookie QB. He also doesn't seem too keen on having both a QB coach and an Offensive Coordinator on hisby MamaRAMa - RamsFootballFans.com

Since there's a discussion here on kickers, I thought this article might be an interesting read. It's a few years old, but pertinent. Kicking at the Super Bowl: Why trying a field goal in the NFL's biggest game is almost always a gamble Kicking in a Super Bowl is hard, and kicking in a Super Bowl in Miami is even harder By John Breech Jan 29, 2020 at 7:58 am ET MIAMI -- When Super Bowby MamaRAMa - RamsFootballFans.com
Speaking of Brandon Staley... has he been interviewed for another HC position? And NO, I'm not saying I want him to return to the Rams. I'm just asking out of curiosity if anyone knows if he's been interviewed.by MamaRAMa - RamsFootballFans.com
He just rubs me the wrong way. He might be rich but he has a "big lug" persona which isn't particularly appealing. I don't like listening to him. I don't like watching him. And lately he seems to be all over the place on tv (commercial, talk shows, sports shows). It doesn't help either that Gronk has joined the FOX Sunday Football crew. QuoteEkern55 I never really liked that guy, but his time with the Rams changed my feelings towards him. Great competitor, gutsy, and an amazing talent. He was a pompous, pr!ck when he came out of college. He's grown up since then and has become a pretty decent guy from what I can tell. His wife is due to have their first baby, a girl, in April. There's no more real football play in the NFL Pro Bowl anyhow. It changed in 2022 to flag football and skills competitions. I don't get why the NFL thinks people are willing to watch that and worse yet... pay to watch it. I'm sure not. I stopped watching the Pro Bowl a few years ago. QuoteRams43 I am very much afraid that this area is a McVay blind spot. He simply can’t bring himself to properly invest in players for his ST coordinators. This is a 7 year trend line.
