You guys are -well-how do I say this-still back in the good ole days-how's that for being polite. Every theater around our home offers seating with people bringing you drinks. Nothing better than sitting with a martini and watching the latest and greatest. Our closest in downtown San Juan Capistrano has a "Casablanca" bar where you can drink all you want and then take your drinks to yoby waterfield - Bucky's Pub
Bronson was a weenie and I know nothing about Bean other than a few reports that he used to kick the crap out of a lot of soccer players in high school. (this from a neighbor of mine who grew up near by.) But that isn't my point which is that you can't simply tell who you want in the fox hole with you by their looks.by waterfield - Bucky's Pub
One of the problems with most of us fans is that poisonous snake called envy. We just can't accept the fact that someone making so much more money than we are that they could want more. That was the engine that was behind many posters when Bradford couldn't perform up to their own expectations-for many reasons. We don't understand market driven economics. We think its still just a game played byby waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
Taught you what? Not sure I understand? Another example of how "images" can fool us on this topic. I was at Dodger stadium last Friday night when the almost brawl began between the Marlins and Dodgers. Driving home I was listening on the radio of the discussion involving the incident. One of the commentators -an x Yankee-was saying that one person you don't want to mess with is (notby waterfield - Bucky's Pub
Precisely my point. It's what Hollywood teaches us. Real life goes like this: If you polled Herd members who would you want to walk down a dark alley with, you might never get an answer that some Rams themselves have said: Mark Bulger. But he doesn't fit our Hollywood image as a "tough guy". But he was one guy you would want with you in a street fight.by waterfield - Bucky's Pub

So very sorry. Wishing and praying for the best recovery possible.by waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
It's no longer just a football game now-its really about entertaining people who spend big bucks. If it were just about football the popularity wouldn't be the same. The Rams new stadium will be interactive (i.e the fan suggesting a play, etc.)fantasy football, etc. It's all about getting more and more people involved especially those who can take the game or leave it.by waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
Back in the 50s I met a few of the Rams but I was a kid and have never met any since. So how can I say I "like" them or "dislike" them personally. If the question is who has been the most disappointing-well that's a different matter entirely.by waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
I see lots of young women wearing jammies in the stores these days. I think its fashionable. But on a football field? I can't see how that is going to help this team.by waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
No worries. There's always someone to help with the back zipper. Unless your the last one in the water. Over the years my experience has been that the harder your wet suit is to put on the warmer it is. At my age I like comfort so I go with a thin shorty with minimal weights. Of course I don't stay in very long but that just means more time on the boat to drink wine.by waterfield - Bucky's Pub
Not sure this counts but I was hiding under the couch with my dog when Mike Jones made "the tackle". Shortly before that I had run head on into our bedroom door during the Warner to Bruce TD.(almost knocked myself out) I have yet to recover from that game.by waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah-while I haven't for some reason seen the movie (not sure I want to-scary) it makes sense that the more divers on board the odds increase of an erroneous count.by waterfield - Bucky's Pub
Being more in free diving than SCUBA you are always by yourself and normally out of sight from any boat. Good or bad if your spearfishing you normally don't want to be around anyone else. Generally you will be dropped off in the current and you will say I'm going with the current and pick me up in about an hour down current. Years ago I was on a dive boat after a competition off the coast of theby waterfield - Bucky's Pub
you will be fine in August unless there's an unusual cold current running. Right now the ocean is starting to warm up. At San Clemente Island last week the surface temperature got up to 70 degrees. Also keep in mind you are only going to be in the cage for a limited time -meaning you can't hog it. I suspect the minimal time will be 15 minutes and the max will be 30 min.by waterfield - Bucky's Pub
hopefully you got through to the end of it. There's a spot where a deckhand puts his hands to his eyes like field glasses and the video stops for a few seconds. Some people think that's the end but it continues with some dazzling video of big-really big-white sharks. Some people on board were from Wisconsin and had never been in the Ocean before. It took a lot to get them into the cage but they dby waterfield - Bucky's Pub
IMO it was Bruce Brown's finest surfing movie-he made several. It wasn't just a bunch of shots of people surfing. It actually had a story and an existential theme to it. To me it was all about youth and the false hope of it never ending-and yes some great surfing.by waterfield - Bucky's Pub
My nomination would be the wonderful 1966 surf movie "The Endless Summer"-about friends who travel the world looking for the perfect wave.by waterfield - Bucky's Pub

Like I say he was a real favorite of my mom's and I think the ONLY reason I ever learned to play the instrument. I will say this those accordions in the day were gorgeous and I used to rub my hands all over the keys and buttons. Really nice. I have no idea of whatever happened to it but I bet that instrument is worth something today.by waterfield - Bucky's Pub
Before her education career even began she was an engineer for TRW systems and worked on the Lunar Module designed to land on the moon and return to the Apollo spacecraft. She had a clearance from the Dept. of Defense that was so high it did not have a name. Much higher than the AEC clearance she already had. She couldn't-or wouldn't -talk to me about what she was working on other than generalitby waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
Your prom was in the high school gym? So was mine but things here in this area are quite different. We are talking limos and high priced hotel ballrooms-which is really too bad because there are a lot of kids who simply cannot afford to go. While we live in a diverse ethnic community the proms turn out to be lilly white. I know this because when my wife was a principal and later a superintendentby waterfield - Bucky's Pub
In grammar school Dick Contino was the rage-as far as my mom was concerned. So she had me practice every day for three years on the accordion. It was a big thing that I could barely lift and when added to its case was almost impossible to lug around for practice. However, I did play the thing at my 6th grade graduation. I think the song was (sp?) "Chirrachirrabeen" . I got lost in the mby waterfield - Bucky's Pub
