Quotejemach This team wasn't ready. We learned...and hopefully take that into the new season. And teams do lose after bye weeks. Totally agree with you. Sorry my post did not make that clear enough. Go Rams!!!!!!!!by dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotejemach What's the diff? Rams lost. That for some posters is the diff. Go RAms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!by dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
Excellent point. Amazing, how some Rams fans try to put McVay down for resting his star players . Every Rams fan should be down on his knees and thank this man for what he has done for us in less than a full year. Maybe those posters would like more Fishball. Lol Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!by dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
Raiders are THE best example why you rest your stars in a meaningless game before a playoff game. And as you said: Just a bad game and bad timing to have it. Happens in sports. And life. Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!by dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotejemach If he was, McVay would have had him in the game more. If a tight end saw targets, it was Higbee. That means, of course, he isn't as good as Higbee. IMHO it is way too soon to give up on Everett. He showed flashes early this season but for whatever reasons he seemed to regress. I am still very hopeful that McVay will coach him up so he will be a valuable asset next season. Go Raby dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
QB and HC make the Patriots perannial contenders since 2001. I see the Rams set up well at those two positions with McVay and Goff. They might never reach the success that BB and Brady have shared but the Rams are in excellent shape regarding those two crucial positions. Go Rams!!!!!!!!!by dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
Wish he was the next London Fletcher and not JL. :clap Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!by dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
This one and done is a nothing compared to SB 36. Back then we were the better team and got robbed blatantly by the refs, the league and Bellicheat. This year we came out of nowhere and even if we lost on Saturday the season was more than I ever expected. Yes, we could and probably should have beaten the Falcons at home but they are the defending NFC champs for a reason and it is no huge upby dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
And try to regain that 2nd round pick. If we resign SW I see our priorities at NT, cb, lb and o-line. Go Ram!!!!!!!!!!!!!by dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree with you 100%. Rams have a solid nucleus together now, especially at HC, QB and RB. They also should extend AD no matter the contract. He is THE difference maker on defense. Cut TA and let TJ walk if this will ensure we keep AD. Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!by dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
I think many are so down and disappointed after last nights loss because this years SB tournament is as wide open as it was in a long time and the Rams picked to play their worst game of the season at the worst possible moment. Yes, it was a fantastic year, better than I ever envisioned in my wildest dreams but so much more was possible. Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!by dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotejemach by Goff...even though he (Watkins) was being harrassed. The end zone pass near the end of the game was not a drop...it was a mugging! Should have drawn a flag no question about it. But he got both hands on the ball and could not secure it. Probably not a drop but a catch I expect my Nr. 1 Wr to come up with in crunch time. Was always in favor of resigning SW but after yesterby dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
Too bad it was the Rams first playoff game in a long, long time. Rams have to look at both tackle positions soon, maybe as early as this offseason.. Due to age (Whitworth) and level of play (Havenstein) Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!by dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotejoram Can't blame Watkins for Goff not throwing to him But can blame him for not going all out and dropping balls when they hit him right in his both hands. Go RAms!!!!!!!!!by dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteGreatRamNTheSky The bar has been raised for this team but nobody should fall in love with this roster as there is maybe just a few starters who are untouchable but this team can be upgraded in many areas. Grits Exactly. Untouchables: Goff, Gurley, Donald, Hekker, GZ. Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!by dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamBum I think that at least part of the reason that Goff spent so much time on the sidelines was because he, or at least the offense, couldn't sustain any drives. Don't get me wrong, I love Goff, but I think that with another year of experience this would have been a different game. Well, Falcons took the second half kickoff and kept the ball for almost 9 minutes due to horrendous run deby dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
Just watched the game on tape. Disappointed but nothing will take away a fabulous 2017 season. Rams clearly showed playoff jitters. From McVay to Gurley to (too) many other players. Goff IMHO played a helluva game under almost constant pressure. Too bad that Cooper had his worst game of his career. As did the entire STs unit. Set the tone early and the Rams never really recovered fromby dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
Game will probably not end before 5.30 am. Too late for live action. Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!by dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
Given all the stress I have to deal at this stage of my life (business and private life) it will be really , really tough to stay up for opening kickoff and right until the end. Waited so long for the Rams to be back in postseason play so I will try hard to watch it live. But I will tape it just in case.... Most important is a Rams W no matter when I watch it! Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!by dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
on their way to hopefully a SB title. Falcons are a very good team on offense and defense with a top QB at the helm. They have playoff experience and something to prove after last years collapse vs the Patriots. I expect a very close game and hope that the Rams come out on top. But it would not surprise me if it is the Falcons who advance. Go RAms!!!!!!!!!!!by dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
As I said in another post today and the reasons you just mentioned Go rams!by dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
But not n this one, at least not yet. I would definitely give the kid another season to prove himself. I trust in McVay to get GE up to be a contributor in this offense. I see a few positions that need to be addressed before TE. And just as important is resigning SW or we open up another huge hole at WR. And that alone would be bad news not to mention the loss of Gaines and that 2nd round pby dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamsdude QuoteRFIP I haven't seen it mentioned...does anybody think that was a catch? I laughed before the review and when Blandino said incomplete I was certain...then the ref said completion!! This league has a serious catch-rule problem. I was 100% convinced that was NOT a catch...and then it was!?!? I agree with you RFIP. IMO, he didn't seem to "survive" the ground contby dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
Nothing is granted in the NFL. It is a historical fact. But it is also a historical fact that a great HC- QB combination can and will go a long way for sustained success in this league. And IMHO the Rams have that in place with McVay and Goff. Go Rams!by dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
Wooooooow! Bring on them birds! Go Rams!by dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
Wasn't expecting that in my wildest dreams. Go rams!by dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteDavid Deacon I think there are a lot of factors regarding TA. 1. He was injured all during training camp and never got comfortable in this system. 2. McVay has a lot of weapons and one of the top offenses in football. He didn't need TA production 3. I am confident if given the time and need McVay can figure out how to get the ball to TA in space 4. I am confident that TA if he getby dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSpeed_Kills The dude got it wrong but still is trying to find things to ding the Rams on TA role with the Rams has been clear. Be a decoy to open up this run and pass game His precense has done just that. McVay has gotten what he needs from TA RFIP - have you watched that screen to Gurley from last week? A couple of weeks ago you asked why can’t MCVay get the ball to TA down the fby dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteBlue and Gold I know it's not worth risking injury but we are going to throw the game away if we rest the best players It is not set in stone we lose with Mannion and without TG. There is still a lot of talent on this Rams roster. I think Mannion will do a fine job and surprise . Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!by dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
