If he was, McVay would have had him in the game more. If a tight end saw targets, it was Higbee. That means, of course, he isn't as good as Higbee.
IMHO it is way too soon to give up on Everett.
He showed flashes early this season but for whatever reasons he seemed to regress.
I am still very hopeful that McVay will coach him up so he will be a valuable asset next season.
