WARNING TO PARENTS OF YOUNG RAM FANS: YOU MAY WANT TO MAKE THEM LEAVE THE ROOM! THIS IS OBSCENE! During the 1st quarter of yesterdays er, um, uh,..........game, CBS showed this graphic regarding our offensive (and I mean offensive!) production: PTS SCORED - 180 (LAST) 1ST DOWN PG - 15.8 (LAST) YPG - 284 (LAST) YPP - 4.7 (LAST) 3RD DWN CONV - 32% (LAST) This hints to me that Fisher haby guinnessram - RamsFootballFans.com

I wasn't going to post it, but I now feel obligated to show the graphic CBS showed during the 1st quarter. I'm going to do it in its own post, so.................. Stay tuned Ram fans. Same Ram time. Same Ram channel. Kevin P.by guinnessram - RamsFootballFans.com
As I was going for my daily walk in the woods today and thinking about yesterday's er, um, game, I could hear a name being whispered in the wind. It started out faintly, but the more I walked the louder and more insistent it became........@#$%&..........@#$%&...........@#$%&..........@#$%&............@#$%&! HINT: The wind wasn't telling me to GO FAR! Many of you young posters won't get my refby guinnessram - RamsFootballFans.com
If he thought that throwing the architect of the NFL's worst O under the bus could possibly get him another year as HC, he would have done so by now. Kevin P. I never used the "Rearranging the deck furniture on the Titanic" simile, but it seems appropriate in this instance.by guinnessram - RamsFootballFans.com
First and foremost, I want Fisher to be fired. If he would have thrown together 3 meaningless wins (wins when you are eliminated) there might have been a chance Kroenke could rationalize keeping him, citing a strong finish with a new QB. It's not like a win is going to drop us out of the top 5 or 10 in the draft. We are not in the top 32, so that ship has already sailed. Secondly, I am oneby guinnessram - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteLesBaker This is all up in the air, and it could go in any one of a few directions. You are right Les, and that just boggles my mind. I can't imagine how they would even CONSIDER bringing Fisher back. Kevin P.by guinnessram - RamsFootballFans.com
One excuse that Fisher can't use in his endless arsenal: He can't blame injuries. We are one of the - if not THE - healthiest teams in the NFL. We can't even console ourselves with the thought we will improve once our best players get back in uniform. They are already in uniform and out on the field making the horns the laughingstock of the NFL. Kevin P.by guinnessram - RamsFootballFans.com
And is it supposed to make me feel better to know that it's the players, not the coaches? Kevin P.by guinnessram - RamsFootballFans.com
You never see a team that won talk about how competitive they were. Kevin P.by guinnessram - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm pretty sure we had over 100 yds in penalties. The FO said they extended Fisher for consistency, and we have been consistently horrific when it comes to committing penalties. Kevin P.by guinnessram - RamsFootballFans.com

I know taking the over sounds weird when I include this moribund offense, but the Falcons are giving up an NFL high NEARLY 7 YDS PER PLAY. At this pace, they will approach all-time records for YPP. I think - like in NORL - it's going to be a shoot-out for the first half and then ATL's half-time adjustments and Fisher & staffs' lack thereof will result in an ATL double digit win. 35-24by guinnessram - RamsFootballFans.com
Regardless of whether or not the players liked Harbaugh (I've seen no credible evidence that they didn't) I'd rather have a proven winning coach who might bring a little dysfunction than a proven losing coach who the players like. Speaking of dysfunction, I would argue that Fisher is creating some of his own. Kevin P.by guinnessram - RamsFootballFans.com

Quoteoldschoolramfan Is there any Mike Shanahan love out there? You know, Mike and his son Kyle come in and run the show. Maybe Kyle takes over in a few years. They do have a lot of ties in the NFL, so getting a staff put together should be pretty easy. I like Mike's intensity, just what this team needs. A more detailed and serious approach to pracrices and game time decisions. That would maby guinnessram - RamsFootballFans.com
That's about it in a nutshell. If you would have told me that we would end up @ 3-1 with 2 wins in the division - especially after our opening embarrassment on national TV - I would have told you to find me a locked room and a strait jacket to contain my enthusiasm. But when it actually occurred I viewed it with a jaundiced eye because I closely watched those 3 wins and came away with more thby guinnessram - RamsFootballFans.com

Every time the Rams were in the shotgun or pistol, the commentator (Spielman?) would say: "This is another pass play." I mean EARLY in the game. If he can see it from the booth, I imagine Belichek might be able to cipher that out in film study. Boras is the orchestrator of the worst O in the NFL and another check on the list of Fisher's innumerable mistakes as HC. Kevin P.by guinnessram - RamsFootballFans.com
I couldn't disagree with the "Losing makes winning that much sweeter." mantra. Losing is losing, period. Same with winning. How about being a consistent playoff contender rather than tasting victory just once? A consistent playoff contender has much more of a chance of reaching the ultimate goal of winning the SB, and you can enjoy the games and the feeling of hope along the way.by guinnessram - RamsFootballFans.com
I had the under (46.5), KC in my office pool and 3 Chiefs helped me to win $10 with my "FanDuel" team. As a Ram fan, Nov & Dec are usually all about wagers cuz we are perennially out of it by mid NOV with four 4-6 and a 3-6-1 start with Fisher @ the helm. Sadly, years before Fishneck were even worse. I was literally one of the first people to get "NFL Ticket" just so I could watch the Rams in central PA. 2: I used to depend on others to report what was happening in regards to this team. Didn't we trade up to get him and just extend him for over $40 mill? As Mel said on draft day, you don't move up into the top 10 unless you foresee him becoming a #1 receiver. He hasn't. There are many 3rd & 4th WR's that have more than 500 yds rec. And you sure don't extend him for #1 receiver $$$. And PLEASE don't use his PR abilities as a justification for either. Even with a competent OC, I still don't think that Fisher's "Play Not To Lose" mentality will get us over the hill. They would have to take the entire Offense, time-out management, challenges, when to punt/go for it on 4th down, accountability for penalties and so many other aspects away from Fisher for us to challenge for a playoff spot that it begs the question: What do we need Fishby guinnessram - RamsFootballFans.com
