For me it's Watkins. I still can't believe we have him. I was nashing my teeth for years when we failed to draft him. At this point I don't ever want to let him get away. I don't subscribe to paying a DT as much as a QB (20 mil.)by Killrazor - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamsfsninmd ...I paused the TV with about 3:00 left as I could not take them possibly losing live. I walked around in my bare feet outside in my neighborhood muttering, "I cannot take this...." QuoteRamgator REALLY started having flashbacks to a CERTAIN MNF game in 1989 and actually got that sick feeling again??))))))))) I did. After Cooper fumbled, I was totally numb at that point. It was a weird feeling after the game. We won, but my nerves were fried. Comfortably numb is a good way to put it.by Killrazor - RamsFootballFans.com
I have to admit, Woods is one tough SOB out there. He has taken some nasty hits this year and keeps on going.....by Killrazor - RamsFootballFans.com
I think Barron played well. Did the Niners make it a point to shut down Kupp or did the Rams decide to get everyone else involved? He did very little last night. Our safety play is meh at best. Could the rookie Johnson get a start soon? Hats off to the backup Center coming in and playing well!! The OL played well as a unit. Way to keep Goff vitually clean. Great play by cb Hilby Killrazor - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotemax This is a game that the Rams need to win if they are going to show they aren't a losing team again. If they lose this game to the Niners I think we are looking at the 5 or 6 win team (maybe worse) that many expected. Maybe that's fine, maybe this year is all about Goff developing and getting ready to contend in 2018. Maybe its about McVay growing into the job as well. I think theby Killrazor - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotemax But clearly, the Rams need to win this game and should win it if they are better than last year. The Niners still don't have a QB. If they beat the Rams it will be a major hit to McVay. Still incredibly embarrassing that the Niners could only beat the Rams last year. We need to end that debacle right now.by Killrazor - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteGreatRamNTheSky Considering they had a division game (49ers) and of course the Redskins game within 4 days I think the Rams may have made a choice about which game is more important. Just a hunch. My guess is we shall see the A+ game from Rams on Thursday night. Grits))))) I'm not sure If the lackluster run D was by design or not but the Rams are now forced to really bring it Thuby Killrazor - RamsFootballFans.com
Hamstring issue. There will be a decision Saterday night. Quick better step up......by Killrazor - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteguinnessram Once you get past my bad pun, I never considered that aspect of the signing. Belichek was famous for this tactic, but in this case I think it is just coincidence. Can't hurt though. Kevin P.)))))))) I like what you did there, lol! :) It's almost amazing that they would trade him to us knowing that we play them this year. Maybe they figured McVey already knows wby Killrazor - RamsFootballFans.com
Signing the new TE from Washington. That player is coming fresh off of knowing the Redskins playbook and McVey is probably sitting with him this week to pick his brain and gain more insight. Is this an overated concept or is there really something to learn/gain by conversing on the opponents playbook?by Killrazor - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotezn On some of these issues. It was the move. Numerous reporters close to the situation said it had an effect. All the way up and down the line, coaches and players. Farr, who had been through a move, said it had an effect. And I saw a hint that Goff was forced on Fisher? I suppose in a busy multi-faceted fan world some rumors never go away. But that one has been blown completely outby Killrazor - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRampage2K- Hope all is well....looks like this Irma is a nasty b#### Keep us posted!!!))))) Good so far. It's sunny out. But of course, the fireworks haven't started yet. It's supposed to hit during the Rams game on Sunday (Sunday night). The game is on CBS nationally, so I'll be able to watch it untill the lights go out........ :(by Killrazor - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotealyoshamucci Gurley, Kupp, and Everett)))))))) I have Cupp and Watkins as well. The question is, which one will be more productive for fantasy? Cupp who will run underneath routes, or Watkins that will go long more often? Are you starting either week one?by Killrazor - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSaguaro Either privately for myself, or maybe even posted something once upon a time. Picking each game on the schedule. It's pure entertainment. The odds of getting each W and L right throughout the season before it starts are astronomical. There will unexpected wins and unexpected losses, as well as the predicted ones. The best one can do is look at a group of games and say &by Killrazor - RamsFootballFans.com
All I know for sure is it is way too early to know how good Goff will be at his peak. Troy Aikman and Eli Manning made very little progress developing early in their careers. Their teams stuck with them through some rough years and never looked back after that. I know it has little to do with Goff, but it's an example of how patients can be rewarding if you don't give up on a player too sby Killrazor - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteTHE FANATIC He's an excellent mentor, all-around class-act. Home-run signing by the Rams brass (yes, bigger than Watkins IMHO!) He actually kept stride with the guy but just couldn't close the gap.)))) The way our luck was going, I was watching him run and I was waiting for a hamstring pull or some freak injury to happen to the big guy. QuoteGreatRamNTheSky Now we have the starting receivers for the 2016 Buffalo Bills. LOL Grits)))) I was on the Sammy Watkins train in '14 as well. Better late than never. Many thought Issac Bruce would never get over his hamstring injuries early in his career, he proved them wrong. I hope Sammy can too.by Killrazor - RamsFootballFans.com
Early reports also indicate that the Rams look good in two minute drills. That's a good sign that players are stepping up. I wouldn't forget about Spruce as well. I think he could make plays, until proven he can't.by Killrazor - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRFIP See the problem is, neither of these two were jettisoned due to injury concerns. They were given numerous opportunities to succeed and failed....miserably. Might one or both carve a niche out and hang around the league a few more years? Sure. But neither was worthy of where the Rams drafted them and, in Quick's case it's embarrassing to think Snead used the 33rd overall pick on a guyby Killrazor - RamsFootballFans.com
Maybe the Lions are just so thin at that position that they have him listed as a starter at LT because he wins it (for now) by default. There is no telling if the light has finally switched on for him until the bullets start flying and games are played. This is the point in the last three years that Rams fans would be hoping he turned the corner, it's nothing new. Then when games went liveby Killrazor - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteGreatRamNTheSky I think after they had lost their 3rd in a row and by that time they had played 6 games, they all knew what kind of team they were and that they were going no where so its very possible that Fisher started expecting the axe and may have emotionally checked out. Yes, Hav had a bad foot that never felt right. It was focused on Hard Knox that he was trying to work through the injury. He seemed to be limited in workouts and the early going, only to be thrust onto the field when the season started. Nothing was said about it for the longest time. But it looked like it was a setback that lingered the whole season.by Killrazor - RamsFootballFans.com
The good news is, there are team that rise out of nowhere every year. Miami won 10 games last year with first year coach, Adam Gase. They were just as bad as the Rams for many years before finally getting a coach in there that knows what he's doing. Let's hope we could come close to that kind of success with our young coach.
