This is a game that the Rams need to win if they are going to show they aren't a losing team again. If they lose this game to the Niners I think we are looking at the 5 or 6 win team (maybe worse) that many expected.

Maybe that's fine, maybe this year is all about Goff developing and getting ready to contend in 2018. Maybe its about McVay growing into the job as well.

I think the Rams have more talent than the Niners, so to lose to them and go to 1-2 will say a lot about where we are.

I hate to think about how I will feel if we lose, why worry about it until it (hopefully won't) happens but I'm already trying to cope with it.

Two things give me hope, our division is still weak and the improvement the Dolphins made after 5 games last year. They were 1-4 and it looked bleak, they had a rookie head coach as well. They started to gel and players were finally starting to get it with the new staff and concepts. They won like 7 straight and went to the playoffs.

That helps me cope a little while I prepare for the worst.
