Even if starters only played 5 games, that is only an average of 4.5 tackles a game. I doubt that 22 is the record all time. It might be since back in LA or from Stl. but not all time.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
Cutting Blanton now helps him out. Better chance of joining another team. Are any of the backup TEs better blockers? Perhaps this helps Carter? It probably also plays into more WRs, as we can not overload at WR and TE.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
Thumbs up - helped themselves McCutcheon - break out game see other post. Kendrick could of plays - one near pick six. Rose - some nice runs scored a TD. Not a great average 8 carries for 19 but he was clearly the best of the bunch. None of the RBs looked great - outside of Perkins rest of the RB were 3.1 yd/carry or worse. Isom with pick on last drive to win the game. Did not help themselby The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com

First drive short passes 5 yards then screen both complete. Big play for 60 yard touchdown to McCutcheon. Also some nice runs. However, takes too long to get rid of the ball. That led to some missed plays. One throw led runner toward sideline could not keep feet in bounds. Threw behind a player. On runs sometimes he ran because he danced in backfield. Just got popped as I was typing this. Too manby The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
Two TDs, a 2 pt conversion and two big PI plays. A 60 yard TD great catch and then beats two DBs for TD. Nice moves on the 2 pt conversion and then nice catch in back of the endzone for his second TD.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com

Chargers Ball Kendrick looked ok on D first drive. Rochelle jumped a route and led to an incompletion. Whitley (DE) could not hold edge gave up run to space he vacated. Deep touchdown pass – two WR go deep on left side, busted coverage WR way behind Burgess easy TD busted coverage not sure who at fault. Rams Ball Rams first drive – Blanton nice block on a roll out, Perkins holds ball too lonby The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com

Here are a few comments you probably will not see elsewhere about Friday’s practice. I watched Friday’s practice (the first open to the public) and then again on Monday. Both times I watched on the near field. On Friday most of the action was on the far field, on Monday most of the action was on the field I watched. I will start with things I saw on Friday on the non-main action field. The practby The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
So that is basically dead cap space as that pays off those players previous contracts. Also if Big Whit is not on the roster this year that will add 4.166 million in dead cap space.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com

He is the UDFA who I think will be most likely to hit (outside of the P/K).by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
When he came out as gay last offseason everyone in the NFL (the league, the raiders, some players) had positive things to say about him. However, he is still out there as a FA. Now he is not the only FA DE/OLB available but I wonder if his sexual orientation is seen as a possible negative in terms of adding him to a team (e.g., how will the other players in the locker room feel about this). The player is protected by a contract without incentives. If the player is on the team for week 1 then they are guaranteed their salary for the year. An incentive based contract means they only get the money if they meet the incentives. This protects the team (don't have to pay if they do not do so), but it puts the player's money at risk.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
Those non winning season meant few playoff games, so those seasons have no effect on playoff wins and losses (2004 went 8 and 8 with a win and a loss in the playoffs).by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
I am not sure if your subject line was a joke or not, but according to the Georgia State depth chart for 2021 on Wikipedia (so it may not be accurate) Carter was not listed as a LS (three players were).by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com

Usually highlight reels are big plays over the year (or career). This was all from the same game against Clemson. I agree I don't have any recollection of watching a RB blocking highlights, but this was against a top defense (they were ranked 3rd overall in 2020) and he had play after play of picking up the blitzer, chipping an edge, etc. That was a good highlight reel for a season. But all in onby The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
4.5 per year. We were up against the cap last year so probably could not afford him (at least that is what the team felt - not at that price point). Rams get him for 1 yr for 1.5 million. A much more affordable contract. Plus the rule of thumb is a 6th this year is worth a 5 next year. So the draft picks are basically a wash.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com

Traded away 1 - (Stafford), 4 (Sony Michel), 5 (Troy Hill), 7* (pick from Det. for Brockers - sent to GB with Bojorquez) Gained - 6 (from GB for Bojorquez), 6 (from Tenn for Woods). Tentative comp picks - 5 (Williams), 5 (Corbett), 6 (SJD), and 7 (Obo). Ten picks as of now. So looks like this: our 2 and 3, two comp 5s, four 6s, and two 7s. The rams got a 6th round comp pick this year for Hill. They traded away a 2023 5th. A draft pick in year one is typically worth a pick a round higher in the next draft. So We lost Hill for 2021 (we did ok without him), and then get him back for the equivalent of a flip of a late 6th this year for an almost as late (hopefully) pick in the 5th next year.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
186. Logan Bruss - OT/OG - Wisconsin - 6'-5" 316 lbs. - Great kid from everything I've read. Leader, and played OT and OG. He is tenacious blocker with good feet, but a tad stiff. Good, not great strength. I like him in any scheme as an OG, possibly RT, but I saw speed give him issues.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
