Going for 2 meant either SF or Rams up by 1 with under 5 minutes. Very unlikely there is an extra up to 10 minutes of game time.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
Against Arizona and Miami. Others have fan bases that travel or already live in LA area: SF, GB, Seattle, Raiders, Vikings, Buffalo, and Eagles.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
Defense basically lost almost all of their starters: DT A’Shawn Robinson DT Gaines LB L. Floyd LB B. Wagner S Scott S Rapp CB Ramsey CB Hill CB Long Everyone of special teams was replaced: P Dixon K Gay KR/PR Powell LS Orzech Offensive losses were not as bad - starting RB, a #2/3 WR, backup QB and a guard. I know both Van Jefferson and Akers were on the 23 squad but were jettisby The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
Bortles might have been ok if he was needed but he only threw 2 passes as a ram. Outside of that year, we have had nothing as QB backups under McVay.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
Was it a thing? I don't remember anyone debating this issue at the time or over the next few years.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
Morrall has three SB wins. Two backing up Griese and one with the Colts backing up Unitas.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
You have four teams that control their destiny. Ignoring Minnesota leaves NO, TB, and the rams. NO plays both of the other teams in their remaining games. If they go 2-0 it likely dooms the other squads. If they go 0-2 it dramatically increases the chances that the rams and TB get in.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
OTHO, we got lucky in the second Seattle game. So we maybe beat Cincy but that balances with Seattle. Ever team has a few games they feel they should have one.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
We also have to have a loss by Minnesota. Regardless we NEED to win on Thursday or that's it.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
Root for TB. If GB loses and we win, records are tied but they win the tiebreaker. I assume we win against Wash. and NYG and that GB beats the panthers. That leaves us with NO and SF. GB would be left with Minn and Chicago. If we go 1-1 in those, we will need GB to lose both but if they beat Minn that helps us too. TB losing may drop them out of the division spot and move up a different team iby The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
This season is done. Owner is thinking about the future. Players less motivated in these last four games leads to better draft picks.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
I am not sure we need to go double WR. I would like a OT or a C somewhere in the mix.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com

Putting up the points can help the rams get into the playoffs. More likely we get points with the kick then with a deep pass into the end zone.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
It said he is in position to POTENTIALLY win a second ring. I assume you agree with the statement that Buffalo has a chance to win the SB this year.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
We have a really good dime defense. At least at the high point of the players careers. Good D Line. Nice secondary and not much at LB. SS John Johnson FS Lamarcus Joyner, Rodney McCloud CB Marcus Peters, Troy Hill, Grant Haley ILB Micah Kiser OLB Traven Howard Edge Leonard Floyd, Robert Quinn DT Michael Brockers The offense is much weaker basically just Watkins and Saffold. Also each team has the same amount of money they can use as bonuses for their UDFA class. Teams that sign more players cannot give as much money to the top players. So we offer a better shot at making the team but less money as a bonus.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
Even my wife knows you don't take a kicker in the round! We started dating in 94 and the Rams wasted a 3rd rounder on a kicker in the 95 draft. We were driving home when I saw this post. I told her SF blew their pick. I said what do you not pick in third round and she replied correctly a kicker. She was pretty close to the name of the kicker in 1995 and I had no idea. I am sure they feel Avila is better - otherwise he would not have been the pick. :laughingby The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
The rams are the only team in the league that does not have a punter on the roster. They are also so the only team that does not have a kicker. They should be talking to punters and kickers during the 5th, 6th and 7th rounds. We don't have as much UDFA money as each team has the same amount and we are likely bringing in more than other teams, but we can honestly tell any kicker or punter you haveby The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
But it is less than it seems. The cap space is counting the costs of the top 51 players. we only have 44 players. So our effective cap space is 28000 dollars (6 teams are under 0) so we are not the worst but there is no space to go for anything above minimum contracts.by The Professor - RamsFootballFans.com
