Just a solid solid signing for them last year. He isnt flashy but he works his tail off.
The likely reason is he is close to 30 years old i believe and in the last year of his deal. The Rams have younger lineman who have as much if not more talent but need to play and they are signed long term.
Most of the time when its so close the team will go with the younger player who is signed longer because they have more time to develop and can get better, where Reynolds is what he is and likely isnt going to get much better outside of improved technique and vet savvy.
