If the organization thought Keenum was the answer they wouldn't have given up so much draft capital for Goff. They could have drafted Lynch at 15 or drafted a weapon like Treadwell for the great CK if that were the case.by LARams17 - RamsFootballFans.com
Case won some games at the end of last year (or did 30 actually win those) and has thrown TWELVE whole passes this preseason and all of a sudden some think he's taking us to the playoffs. Really? That's delusional, IMO.by LARams17 - RamsFootballFans.com
This (and other) Case v. Jared threads are hilarious. Keenum backers actually think he'll win enough games and take us to the playoffs. There is no chance of that. None. And if you don't think he'll win enough games to get us into the playoffs there's no reason he should be out there when you have a #1 overall QB watching. All QBs in this league learn and progress with playing time. Thereby LARams17 - RamsFootballFans.com
Let's wait and see what they do when the bullets go live and we face 8 and 9 man boxes with DBs sitting on the short and hot reads. Until this offense proves it can burn opposing Ds with the pass against over loaded boxes we won't look a whole lot different than last year. If 30 breaks it he's gone. If not, well we know the rest.by LARams17 - RamsFootballFans.com
We have the only coaching staff in the NFL who could take the #1 overall selection at QB and sit him until the offensive geniuses says he's ready. We are so blessed to have the QB guru and offensive mad scientist as the leader of our team. Under any other NFL staff Goff would be starting because they would know how to prepare him with coaching and the proper amount of reps with the 1s. And youby LARams17 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think Jared can play as good, if not better than Case. The offense is vanilla. It's number 30. It's screens. It's dink and dunks. I think Jared can handle all of that. I think Jared can make throws Case can't even dream of. IMO, I think Jared should start.by LARams17 - RamsFootballFans.com
You are correct! It boggles my mind that people here think Keenum should start. He is an average joe out there. Yeah, Case may be more comfortable and he may not personally lose games. He won't win any either. Case will try to dink and dunk down the field. We are running 30 all day. This whole subject of Case is more ready right now is freakin depressing as ****. I'm so proud to be the fiby LARams17 - RamsFootballFans.com
I will agree with you. I'm in the start Goff from day 1 camp. Has Keenum really won the job? IMO, both QBs have not been given equal opportunity with the 1s. IMO, play calling has not helped Goff's transition. Keenum has certainly not done anything to lose the job. Goff hasn't been spectacular to win the job. When the bullets fly for real, IMO Keenum will look as ordinary as ever. Oby LARams17 - RamsFootballFans.com

As a season ticket holder I was emailed a survey to rate my experience. The survey was incredibly comprehensive. What made me laugh was at the very end, they asked how the actual game day experience could be improved. I simply couldn't resist and wrote in the box provided: Start Goff, Cut Brian Quick. Spruce and Duke make the 53. I got a call from Snead and he told me he agreed (I wishby LARams17 - RamsFootballFans.com
Remember when Fisher wouldn't start Donald until game 5 his rookie year. Kendall Langford was the starter. Donald was clearly the better option. Goff will probably suffer the same fate this year. Let's hope Jared enjoys the same success as 99 did. I'm in the minority around here and want Jared to start game 1. Ready or not here I come.by LARams17 - RamsFootballFans.com
We can agree to disagree on his arm strength. I've seen more balls underthrown and flutter than I care to imagine. If the Rams believed he was the answer they never would have given up so much draft capital to select a QB. All my opinion of course.by LARams17 - RamsFootballFans.com
IMO. Case is nothing more than a journeyman QB. Your typical game manager. He can win some games but he'll never take you on a deep playoff run. Teams know he has a noodle arm and will design defenses to take away what he's physically able to do. I'm sorry, he just doesn't impress me. He's a great guy, great teammate, but nothing close to an elite QB or someone who can win in the playoffs.by LARams17 - RamsFootballFans.com
Yes, things may turn out to be "fine" with Keenum as you suggest. IMO, it just won't be exciting for ME. I've had enough of the journeyman type QBs the Rams have trotted out there for years now. When the bullets start flying in 3 weeks, and every team loads the box with 8-9 players to stop TGII because Keenum's arm scares nobody ... then what? Would Goff be better in that situation?by LARams17 - RamsFootballFans.com
Saw that as well. Duke blocks as good, or nearly as good as Quick. And Duke can't be any worse with the dropsies than Quick. I hope the only thing left to do is show Quick the door quickly.by LARams17 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteCROMWELL21 he is owed 1.5 million in guaranteed money. Yes he is. But they wasted $6.75M when they released Foles. Quick would be a bargain at $1.75M. Again, just like Cook, Quick's release will be addition by subtraction IMO.by LARams17 - RamsFootballFans.com
Time will tell, but I think Goff will be the better QB when all is said and done. I think ALL QBs are a mismatch for Fisher. He's not a QB friendly coach. In today's NFL, you'd think he'd at least hire a modern OC who has a modern passing game philosophy. Boras? Who knows. This is his first year. Really? The DC and ST are both mature and experienced. The offense ... NOT so much. Fishby LARams17 - RamsFootballFans.com
My feelings on Quick are well known. I loathe the guy. He simply can't catch. He's not reliable when you need a big catch for a first down or a TD. The only thing he does well is block. I'll give him that. I want him to be cut. Will Fisher have the guts to cut him. That's the question. He doesn't deserve a roster spot IMO. Who here thinks Fisher will cut him? He's been caby LARams17 - RamsFootballFans.com

First, let me preface that I've been a Rams fan for 50 years. Started going to their games when I was 3 years old. Kept my season tix when they moved to Anaheim. Went to a few games a year in STL. Been with the team through thick and thin when most of my friends gave up and didn't care when they went to STL. I have season tix again in the Coliseum. That is truly surreal. All True. But ... There should be another rule for stupidity which those 2 have in spades. You can't fix stupid.by LARams17 - RamsFootballFans.com
Absolutely agree. It was amateur hour. It was like being at an arena football game. I've been to a few games in STL and it seems similar but even more over the top. Bad, very bad.by LARams17 - RamsFootballFans.com

I just called DIRECTV and said I was going to change providers. They reduced my monthly bill $50 for 12 months and got another $25 per month off for Sunday Ticket Max. The money I just saved will be spent on Sunday's at the Coliseum LOLby LARams17 - RamsFootballFans.com
