Yes, things may turn out to be "fine" with Keenum as you suggest. IMO, it just won't be exciting for ME. I've had enough of the journeyman type QBs the Rams have trotted out there for years now. When the bullets start flying in 3 weeks, and every team loads the box with 8-9 players to stop TGII because Keenum's arm scares nobody ... then what? Would Goff be better in that situation? I'm not sure, but I'd prefer to take my chances with the far superior arm talent and upside with Goff.
Yes, Goff will eventually be the starter. When, who knows. But until then, I simply can't be excited to watch yet another journeyman behind center.
