early in college, he had drop issues. This year he was much better, but Edwards caught 39 passes to Corums 16ish? So Edwards was Michigan's pass catching back. I think Corum's improvement is promising, but the Rams are really lacking a pass catching back.by Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
You nailed the Brennan Jackson pick. I struggle with those player types and always seem to have the guys in the wrong order. I went back after they drafted him, and I saw the same thing over and over. An edge setting, nonstop motor that never gives up on the play, but lacked a pass rush set. Its a bull rush with some push/pull. He has a spin move, but its not great. So I assumed he would be aby Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com

Again, just my opinion. I don't do grades. If I did grades after last year's draft, I would have been so far off base, I'd have lost all credibility. Thanks Kobie Turner and Steve Avila. First some general thoughts including the trade to land Fiske. Some are thoughts on my boards and how I thought it shook out compared to reality. 1. Trade next years 2nd to move up for Fiske. So far 4 for 4, and I said in a post Friday night to go get Verse's teammate Fiske and they did, so I'm pretty happy. Kinchens was a top 1 or 2 SAF before testing, and I had him at the end of round 3, thrilled with this pick. Corum had better tape last year, but I had read or heard that he was injured or dinged up for most of the season this year. So he could be a real steal. Like that pick. My 2024 Big Board I'll keep the Rams pick in red, delete who is gone. 15. Jared Verse - EDGE - FSU - 6'-4" 254 lbs. - Twitched up, speed to power merchant that can really apply pressure to OL early in the rep. Solid setting an edge as well. 35. Braden Fiske - IDL - FSU - 6'-5" 292 lbs. - Good athlete that is a super smooth mover, big time motor and quick. 85. Kamren Kinby Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
But IMO and I think YB53 agrees as well that Fiske is the better fit. They were close. 19th for Newton (1st overall DL), 35th for Fiske (4th overall DL) Fiske tested out insane, Newton had better tape, both are disruptive, big motor, high character guys.by Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
He was a OG until last year, which I think I mentioned in my draft profile blurb. Maybe not. Anyhow, he has positional flex and I think can work in any scheme, but I like him in a OZS. Its weird that he has all that benchpress power, but his functional strength is lacking IMO. SEC lines beat him up this year a bit. He just needs to add some good weight and grow into that frame IMO.by Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
Not really. War Eagle. Anyhow, THe other 2 just had bigger legs. And most had Little above Karty, but I loved that Karty improved every single year accuracy wise. His leg from 50 is good. But its not a monster leg. Super accurate though. I wasn't gonna pile a bunch of punters and kickers on my board, they are easy enough to talk about and the more of those guys I add, the more guys likeby Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
Will johnson from Mich. wasn't draft eligible and would have been the top CB drafted. Travis Hunter from Colorado. Davis from Arizona I think. Looking good at the top and deep throughout. Subject to change obviously.by Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com

Absolutely love this kid. Got lost with AD Mitchell and X. Worthy and Ja'tavion Sanders, but this kid admits that he loves doing all the dirty work to help a team win. STs, run blocking, blocking downfield for WRs and backs. Not scared to go over the middle of the field. He is literally a WE not Me WR, which in this day and age is rare. I knew the Rams would love him. Home Runby Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
Had him #112 overall on my Big Board. So a solid 4th round grade. He was 1st team all ACC 3 years running, as a freshman was 2nd team, injuries kept him from making honors his soph year (Orhorhoro was 3rd team) He was a team captain He is quick off the snap Can eat double teams relentless motor Crazy strengthby Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com

He has played LT/RT so a swing tackle prospect. He needs to get stronger as power gave him issues. I think he has the frame to get bigger/stronger though. Good athlete at his size. I think he is a depth/swing tackle for a outside zone scheme team.by Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com

And posted below in a much smaller blurb. I wonder how his sack production will translate to the next level. Bull rush after bull rush won't get it done against pro OTs.by Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
He was just outside my 220. I love his motor. If you watch WSU on defense, he is in the frame when the tackle is made every single time. He hustles to the ball, never gives up on a play. He lacks pass rush tools outside of just a raw power bull rush, but he does convert speed to power and can simply overwhelm a OT. He was a 43 DE, so not sure the fit, but Shula must have a plan.
